Cocktails are expensive, but the service is impeccable and they are incredible. Bartenders are also very knowledgeable and can make just about anything you ask for. Garnishes are delicious, the theatrics of it all is pretty impressive. Walked in right when they opened, so I imagine they get very busy
Don't get me wrong, the drinks are great, but for the price point I don't think the value is there. There are many other bars in detroit where you can receive the same quality cocktail, interesting ingredients and bar knowledge/ service without paying 50 dollars for two drinks. The atmosphere is dark and modern and the space is relatively small with a few tables and bar seating.
Best bar in Detroit!! Drinks are to die for. The experience is worth every penny, and worth every minute if you gotta wait. There’s no place like it anywhere else in the world, so make this a part of your Detroit experience. Chris just made this amazing drink called the Star Elixir!
The drinks were some of the best I have ever had in the Detroit area. Our bartender was very attentive, knowledgeable and I loved the atmosphere.
What an experience. Once you get passed the whole walking down an alley into a back door situation you are introduced to one of Detroit's best kept secrets. The selection and prices of whiskey and cocktails are outstanding and the best I have seen in Michigan. The server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and was willing to talk us through many of their private picks and whiskeys. I cannot wait to come back
Eric was phenomenal. We had a great experience with the best drinks. Warm hot toddy samples when you walk in from the cold! Make a reservation, or you’ll have to wait but totally worth it.
We had a great time here and it lived up to the hype. We were a little surprised when we called them and they said they could say us right away (we've tried before) but once we got in, everything was done really well. The host was very friendly and our bartender, Chris, did a fantastic job guiding us and making dealer's choice drinks. Definitely on the pricey side, but they really were expertly made drinks with high end ingredients. The ambiance is also really nicely done.
Listen. Was my first time ever going there. Had Eric as our bartender. He hooked us up with birthday shots cause it was my birthday and explained what every drink was. Now this is the most important part. He had the same haircut as leonardo D. ( super swag ). Great place, great people, great drinks, great service “ and I’m cheap “. Awesome time.Sincerely Faze
