**UPDATED REVIEW**This place used to be delicious! It has completely gone down. I think the original owner is retired because the good lacks quality, flavor, and temperature. This place will not survive serving inedible food such as the baked chicken, turkey and dressing, macaroni and cheese. Or the store bought items such as potato salad. Additionally, the food tastes old, or is barely warm. On top of all those issues, the customer service is lackluster. Like they're doing you a favor. Ordered a baked chicken meal. The chicken was stringy and looked old. It was also dry. My sides were awful. Green beans tasted sour. Yams mushy and had a bad taste. Unacceptable.
Most of the Food is Not bad. I love the fried chicken breast and fried pork chops, yams and greens, the meatloaf is delicious, but the macaroni and cheese is terrible and needs improvement.
I would never ever go there again if I was hungry and homeless I wouldn't go there the dressing was the worst that I ever had in my life I bought a piece of pineapple coconut cake that I could not eat because it was dried out the greens were not done at all I don't know how this place stays in business but rather than me go back up there and get into an argument with anybody that's behind the counter I just chalked it up spent over $20 there with that's all I have to say I should blast him on Facebook but that's okay then going to keep getting away with selling food that is not soul food that's not soul food its food but I never had no dressing that didn't have chopped onions and celery in it it was just cornbread shame on you Aunt Betty

Unprofessional lately! Called on Tuesday to find out if I could place an order for a turkey dinner for an elderly relative! I was told you’ve got to come in on Wednesday! Once I got there I was told they did not have any more turkey this was around 2 in the afternoon! When calling one gets the idea they are doing you a favor! Not for these prices you aren’t! Where is Auntie Betty? Not the place I was once used to! I will not depend on them again! Most days in the near past food doesn’t taste fresh! Taste like it’s been microwaved! I stopped going! I tried 1 last time so I’m done!
Been coming here for years. I wish I could come as often as I used to. Great food and friendly people. They give you very nice amounts for servings portions! Definitely recommend!
Food be on point but don't stretch the Mac and cheese with sour cream that was horrible
*Big Sigh* I wasn't going to give a review because I don't have anything nice to say about the taste however, I changed my mind after I took a bite of the cornbread. DISRESPECTFUL!!! The cornbread taste like sour milk not butter milk! The beef short ribs taste old meat that the cook doused in bbq sauce to try and hide the taste of spoiled meat but IT DIDN'T WORK! Also, the bbq was sweet baby Ray's w/ ketchup & sugar added! Ummm Ma'am/Sir, you can't cook. This is the soul food dinner that only YOUR children like because they're use to your nasty cooking so their taste buds are just as jacked as yours! The yams.... canned yams mashed & mixed w/sugar. NASTY! The Mac & Cheese..... cooked that w/ sour milk too didn't you because it's dry & taste like sour milk as well. Yes the portions are huge but WHO WANTS HUGE PORTIONS OF SOUR FOOD?! My Auntie would never! Bye Betty. ??
Very disappointed, ordered the meatloaf dinner, I am a lover of mac n cheese so I ordered double Mac, got home and the Mac n cheese was extremely over cooked(soogy and mushy) it also had a very sour taste as if it was overly loaded with sour cream or cream cheese, other than that taste, it was flavorless, the meatloaf itself wasn't bad but the Mac n cheese destroyed the entire meal
