My son and I try and hit restaurants we never have been to every week… we had the most friendliest waitress and the drinks and food were delicious… will be back!
The atmosphere was great, service was awesome, food was EXCELLENT!
All over a wonderful experience. Great service - great food - great drinks !!!
I went to this restaurant with my friends last week for the first time and we had a good experience. The food was good overall and the environment was nice. It is better to reserve a table ahead of time, I highly recommend it.We ended up trying the filet mignon with the garlic and sauce that comes with the plate. We liked the garlic but didn’t like the sauce it felt a little bit oily and the taste wasn’t as good. On the other hand, The meat was cooked very well and tender! We also tried the mashed potatoes and they were hands down the best we’ve tried ever. We got roasted potatoes, Mac & Cheese (So good!) & Potatoes Au Gratin (Not bad) as side dishes. Another main dish we got was The Korean BBQ Glazed Salmon which was really good.Overall, I would say it’s a nice place, more on the fancy end. To me, I’ve tried better but I do highly recommend this spot as it is Halal and a good starting point if you like steak!
Food was amazing here. Initial experience of customer service wasn’t too good as we were waiting and no one came to help us. However, our waitress was very nice. Calamari and Mint29 bread tray was really good. Crab cakes were a little dry. I got the bone in rib eye Medium cooked and it was really good. The zip sauce it comes with is also very good. Crab Mac n cheese is really good and my fav. Truffle fries were also very good and fresh.
I got together with friends I had not seen in 7 years last night to celebrate a 40th birthday. The food was great, drinks were delicious, the 4 of us spent some money! At 7:50pm we were already about to leave, I’m not sure who this man was, but he came up to us and told us that at 8pm they get very busy and that we had overstayed the “2 hour time limit” and would need to leave by 8pm. We were NOT told at reservation or at seating that there was a time limit. Meanwhile there were zero people waiting, the bar was empty and the high top table that seats 10 was empty. So for the next 10 minutes we were stared at by him and the hostess and 2 other employees. What a way to ruin a super rare moms night out, I have NEVER been asked to leave a restaurant. On our way out we told him it was rude to ask us to leave when there were empty tables and no one waiting, he then told us there was a lounge above the bar we could use, No thanks. It truly is a shame because we had a great time until the last 10 minutes and we were already on our way out. I will not be back.
Just WOW this is an outstanding experience, I ordered there Mint29 Prime burger and it is absolutely the best burger I have ever had it was cooked perfectly and so juicy highly recommend to anyone in the areas forsure. Now let me tell you about KYLE, the bartender of the night this guy had the smoothness of a 90s slick back he was on top of everything making sure our food was correct and tasting glorious, I don’t think my drink even went below full, he was absolutely amazing and respectful, even kept the mood up outstanding experience and I can’t wait to come back!!!
Hands down the very best, #1 on my list of burgers. Cooked to order, the Mint29 Prime Burger is leaps and bounds above any other high end burger. Period. Excellent service, very helpful and friendly, amazing Truffle Crab Mac & Cheese. Thanks Kyle!
Excellent experience! I dined at Mint29 to celebrate my father’s birthday. Chris was my server and he took great care of a large group of my family. Our tomahawk was so delicious that we had to order again!! Will definitely recommend!
Would’ve loved to give this spot more stars, but unfortunately If you charge $40+ for a filet please for the love of god know how to cook it to the correct temp! Went with my partner for VDay & after being told $100+ for the surf & turf special (where do you think you are, Chicago? This is downtown Dearborn) we opted for a Filet MEDIUM & the lamb chops. Everything came out & I could tell my filet was undercooked, but hoped it wasn’t too rare. After one bite I knew this was too rare for me. I knew it was a busy night so I’m trying to be understanding. Mention it to the waiter & he takes the plate. I’m now eating sides & my partner is halfway through the chops. The filet returns charred (last picture) & severely well done. I’m actually shocked a repeatable place that charges $40+ for a piece of meat & can’t cook it properly?! I’ve been in the in fine dining industry & typically a good rule of thumb is that if there’s an issue with a dish all hands are on deck to correct this & a supervisor will run the corrected dish back to the table to circumvent any issues. This did not happen. I gave it back to the server as I wasn’t going to wait a third time for them to correct this as my partner was wrapping up their entree. They graciously took it off my bill as I only cut into this & had one bite from the first Rare one. My partner enjoyed the lamb chops & the potatoes au gratin were really good. The ambiance was nice & they gave us a rose for Valentine’s Day. I’m assuming this was a busy night & my filet wasn’t a priority, but Restaurants can set themselves apart by the way they handle errors & unfortunately I wasn’t impressed. Just another boutique restaurant in a sea of Edison light bulbs.
