Great food...Nice and clean...
I don't always eat Chinese but when I do I prefer Lims! I've had like 10 different dishes from here prefer some more than others but the food is always fresh. My meal today was 11 and change and the portion was hudge. What a great value.
I wanted vegetable fried rice instead of chicken fried rice and she said I would get charged and extra $2.50. Why would I pay extra for vegetables when chicken friend rice is actually more expensive than vegetable fried rice? Charging extra for no reason! Senseless.
Good food but very slow and there is good chance they got your order wrong. When you have been waiting for 1/2 hour past your pickup time, it's rare to want to wait any longer fot for them to fix your order. This has happened to me many times there, that is why I probably won't return.
I liked what we ordered. I would go there again. The meat in the dishes was a little dry but still good.

Lim's is a take out gem. Hands down the best won-ton soup you've ever had. It comes with a good amount of veggies, broth and won-tons. Very hearty. Their entree portions are nice sized and delicious. Never had a bad meal at Lim's Garden.
Yum! Excellent service, which ever meal one picks it's created just as yummy as the others.I had pepper steak, everything was pleasing to my palate and yes you get large portions!Try Lim's and you might not eat anywhere else!
Lims was a great Chinese restaurant when I moved up here in 73 with inside dining..and it's still as good as it was then! They work very hard to keep up with all the take out only dinners..I think they could use 2 more people to handle the overload of people that are very loyal to their business...I was so glad to hear that they reopened I love this place! And I always give them a couple bucks more for just being here and not leaving Dearborn like so many restaurants & people have!
If I told you we’ve been here twice to wait almost an hour for pick service after a 45 min wait ordering while nobody even greets you or talks to you at the door, would you consider their decent food worth it? Not me. Sorry y’all
