Took a party of 16 for my daughter’s post- first communion lunch. Although there was a slight hiccup with the table being ready when we arrived, the delay was minimal. The waitress took care of us attentively, even while she was attending to 2 other large parties.The food was all excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.
Great friendly service. Breakfast is good. Extremely annoying when they change you to use your credit card. Who does that ? Who carries cash these days? I’ve been supporting this restaurant for probably 20 ish years and they are always busy so I guess this isjust another way to stick it to the customer.
Late lunch between a visit to the Henry Ford Museum and the airport, looking for something basic, straightforward, and decent. Leon's offers all of the above in an older family style all-booth setting. Wait staff were attentive and friendly, the menu is extensive, soup bowls are large and the meals are more than you can eat. Not an haut cuisine destination, but a very good value and a pleasant experience.
I had breakfast here which was good and the waitress was great. The only disappointment I had was that I was charged a surcharge without being informed. I hardly go to this restaurant so I don’t even know how long this has been going on. I don’t always look at my receipt until after I leave. I’m disappointed. I looked at the total of the bill when the waitress gave it to me and then luckily I said I’d like a receipt. If I didn’t get a receipt I would have never known that I was charged a surcharge.
Absolutely fantastic service.Waitresses are attentive and friendly. They strike the perfect balance between checking on you enough without being obnoxious.The real star is the food. The chicken noodle soup is the best I've ever had. All of the food had a true homemade taste.
Visiting with family we decided on my dad’s favorite place. Excellent soup bar comes with dinner, salad or coleslaw, fresh bread in a basket.The owner met us with a smile at the door, directed us to our waitress and to our table. Seated quickly, drinks came and because my dad is a regular, his coleslaw beat my coffee by a few seconds. Nice place. Family atmosphere. My kind of comfort food. Hearty and large portions.
My daughter needed to to Dearborn and once she was done we went and had breakfast at Leon's. I had their pecan pancakes and I would certainly go back to have them again. Good price rage and great service. Till next time!
Found you on Google. What a great place. Runs like a well oiled machine. Greeted with a smile, sat right away on a busy Sunday. Food arrived fast and was great. Prices are crazy low and I was shocked. Thank you!
