Wow, these guys! They allowed someone to call in with a stolen card, when asked to help correct it, they were unprofessional, cursing and being rude! Worse business aptitude ever!
I was delighted to discover that this establishment not only served halal meals but also gluten-free options. As someone who has celiac disease and can only eat halal cuisine, finding a place to eat may be challenging, so when I went to La Bistro, I was quite pleased with the service as well as the friendliness of the personnel. The meal was delicious and well portioned. My only wish is for them to broaden their menu to include more gluten-free selections.

I feel like ever since they opened their Canton location they don't care to manage their Dearborn location well anymore. It's very sad to see. They put all their effort into the Canton location. I've been coming here for years, a very loyal customer I must say. But they are far from consistent anymore. The food and service has fell off.
Dishes here are always a hit or miss. I've been many times and I've had great experiences some times while other times were a total miss. My last few experiences weren't so great, steak was done wrong, food was over salted. I remember I had to have a steak send back 3 time because they couldn't get it to medium rare. Haven't been back in a while, hope to give them another chance one day if I hear they've made improvements.
Had a 4 star rating, this is typically one of my favorite local restaurants, but not tonight by far. Something is different tonight for sure. Got the 3 piece almond chicken, humus, and chicken lemon rice soup. Everything was bad in some way. Rice was crunchy like reheated rice from yesterday, soup was super thick with some chewy chicken, and humus had spots where it was unbearably bitter. The chicken was the only good part, though highly lacked the almonds.Was so looking forward to my dinner. Such a shame. Not a favorite anymore. Maybe its a hit and miss place now.
LA Bistro is one of my favorite local restaurants, but not last night. Appetiser and soup were great as usual. The disappointment was the almond chicken, it was dry, chewy and seems it was reheated.Also something caught my attention that is one of the employee’s was eating his dinner standing up next to the food prep area.I am sure the management will work on these issues to improve their meal services to better standards.I will continue to visit LA Bistro hoping to see a better results.
Giving this place 3 stars. This place used to be poppin years ago but after the pandemic the fire and passion in this place seriously went down! The service here is very inattentive, seems like they just don’t care for the customers anymore :( the food is good I’ll give it that but man what is up with the prices, I used to always order the Filet mignon when it was like $28 now it’s $55?! Jeez! I still do come here but rarely now, I seriously miss how this place used to be, now they have high schoolers running this place.. what a joke. I came maybe a month or so ago with my sisters and literally saw the waitresses wearing a hoodie and sweats while serving customers, and they just looked bored and annoyed with them. Super unprofessional! So.. ya… there’s that.
NEVER AGAIN! This is by far one of the most disgraceful and disgusting places I’ve had to have ate. The food somehow always has hair when they all claim to be wearing hairnets, but clearly that isn’t the case. I’ve personally watched a waiter pull out a hair and say “close one” then he attempted to serve it to me. I nearly threw up. I took a peek in the back as I was paying and the place seems to be rampant of dirty teenagers, that seems to explain most of what I’ve had to endure. No wonder the place seems to be empty these days. Don’t even get me started on the pizza. ALWAYS BURNT. I’ve had to send back my pizza countless times due to the black charred crust that comes along with my order. My review may say one star, but trust me, at best it has earned half a star.
