This is the first review I have ever written and I feel like need to so the public knows how horrible the food and service is. The food was the most disgusting food I’ve ever eaten and it made me sick when I went home. Please everyone save you’re money and go somewhere else.
I have been coming here for years, and always get the same thing, the Holiday Grill Salad. Earlier this year price on this increased to around $12.50, now at $14.99 - later the same year. I paid nearly $20 for a salad (with tip and an extra side of dressing), only to get home and realize I was given someone else’s breakfast syrup and ketchup instead of the dressing. I called the restaurant immediately after getting home, and explained that I not only didn’t get my extra dressing that I paid for, but I didn’t get the dressing that should’ve come with the salad either. I was told that I could just come up to the restaurant to pick it up (with no apology for the mistake, I might add) or I could get extra dressing next time I come in. I didn’t feel like leaving my house again to go pick up the dressing that should have come with my salad, so I explained that my salad should be credited since I paid for an incomplete meal. And instead ate it with dressing from Kroger. I called a few days later and mentioned the issue. The manager said my dressing was credited, not a replacement for the salad. The dressing that would have been free since it should have been included anyway. He said I already got the salad. I paid nearly $20 for a salad, and that’s the level of customer service you receive in return for the restaurant’s mistake. I understand mistakes happen, however a good manager would make sure the issue was rectified. Absolutely ridiculous mentality for a manager.In response to manager’s message: I placed my order on Tuesday 7/5 at 6:03 pm, called to inform restaurant of the issue the same day at 6:29 pm. Spoke to the same person who took my order and handled me my order. I was told there was a message written down for the manager. Regardless of inflation, I sincerely doubt any other restaurant would have “handled” this so poorly.
We just love this place and have so for years. Waitstaff are top shelf, kind, courteous, and attentive just the right amount! Food is always fresh and as close to home cooked as one can get. Most trips to Dearborn start or end with a meal from Holiday grill. Fresh food prepared with care. Great soups. Great atmosphere. Great music.
Good food at a very very reasonable price. Low key atmosphere.
I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and an order of mozzarella sticks. I went in to pick up my order and noticed that the cooks were not wearing sanitation gloves, they were literally touching food with their bear hands. I canceled my order and left. Big no no!
I have been eating at Holiday Grill since I was a little girl. The prices are great, the portions are huge, and the staff are friendly. It is my go-to place in Dearborn and area.
Great food, awesome staff and great service. I LOVE the new milder salsa too. ❤️❤️
My absolute favorite breakfast place! All of the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Food is always delicious, i’ve never had anything bad. I mainly get the 2 sunny side up eggs (but over-medium and poached are great too) with well done hash browns, crispy bacon and rye toast with marmalade jelly! I do usually just get breakfast but I have had their BLT wrap/chili cheese fries and coneys and they’re all very good! Nothing but great things to say about Holiday Grill!!! P.S. Toni is the best :)
This was my first experience and I was very excited about it but unfortunately I wasn't thrilled at all. Coney's tasted bland and horrible and servers were rude as heck and took forever with my order and they didn't even get my order right. Very off putting attitudes and even ignored me when I asked did my coney's come with cheese like I asked when I ordered. Only to get to my vehicle and discover no cheese smh ??♀ as a first time customer this place sucked and needs new staff. I will NOT be back, ever! And I'm telling everyone I know
Food and service was great. But when the sign says seat yourself. The manager said the table we wanted was for 6 people. There was 4 of us. Not comfortable in a booth. We are fat.
