I was fairly new to Middle Eastern cuisine and the staff was very patient. We got the shared plate for two. it contained a variety of items. Very good the only minus was the salad.The dressing was a bit bitter l, but that may be due to me not having enough experience with the food. I highly recommend this family restaurant.
Beautiful Place and Delicious Food! Worth every penny ??
Just want to start off by saying, this is the only restaurant we will eat at when we visit Dearborn.The food is always delicious and clean tasting. Don’t let the outside deceive you, it might be smaller than your normal restaurant, but it packs big flavor. Usually people take to go, but eating inside in one of the booths is just as good. We got the family platter and it was perfectly cooked.
the Falafel (i got the vegetarian platter with side of fries) was incredible, best i’ve had outside of the middle east. yes the lighting is harsh, but it’s very tasty…freshly made grape leaves! just freshly made and tasty!
Great place. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. Parking is small but it is worth the wait. It is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the USA since 2004.
Let me ask you some questions. Why would you eat anywhere else in Dearborn? Why wouldn’t you drive hours to eat here? This is some of the most amazing food anywhere in the world, made to perfection by Hamido. If you don’t come and try their food, are you even living your best life? Some of the best food hands down in Michigan and the USA. Try it all!
I'm assuming the pickles are made in house and they are wonderful. Generous with the garlic sauce and the such good shawarma. This place hits all the spots. Happy I asked a local and got recommended this place. Will stop by anytime I'm in Dearborn. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes and I'm glad I waited.
Hamido was always our one of the top restaurant in our list but today thats what we found in salad(lady bug)eww i don't give bad review about their foods but cleaness comes first?

Drive all the way from lansing, just to have Hamido steaks. My family and I been a loyal customer since many years now. The steak was hard and not eatable. When we asked for the manager he never bothered to stop at our table “he was too busy” charged us for for the steaks we never ate. Never coming back here!
