Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.The atmosphere was delightful. We were met with a warm welcome. The lighting was adequate as well as the decore.The service was wonderful. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, and extremely pleasant.The chips and salsas was extremely good. The salsa had a well balanced flavor, and you could tell it was made fresh.I had the California Burrito. Which was flavorful and filling.My friend had the Shrimp Mexican Tacos and he informed me that they were good as well.The reason for the the 4 star set was cleanliness. It wasn't baby, but wasn't the best. The bathroom had paper towels on the floor. The table was a bit sticky. And some of the decore had dust on them.4 out of 5 stars ?
Used to be my favorite restaurant. Ate here at least once per week. Last time, it was laundry day, and I only had a bunch of coin change in my pocket to leave as a tip. It was $5+ in coin change, which was actually a great tip compared to my total bill, over 25%. I figured money is money, right? Apparently not. The next time I tried to eat here, I was approached by the owner / manager immediately, who had a strong accent and was very rude / condescending when I couldn’t hear what he was saying over the loud music / environment. He loudly exclaimed “DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?” and said his servers were “insulted” by the tip left in coin change. And that they would rather I not leave a tip at all in the future. I thought money was money, right? Wrong. I didn’t mean to “insult” anybody. It was laundry day and it was all I had. With how embarrassing they made the situation, much ado over nothing, I am afraid to eat here again. What if they do something to my food because they were “insulted” ? One time there was a mysterious object in my bowl of chips. I know what it looked like, but who knows what it was... Needless to say I didn’t eat that bowl of chips. I’ll let the pictures of it speak for themselves... might be some sort of problem going on here... I don’t know. I’ve seen similar things elsewhere before... not usually in food. Very unsettling. I let it go at the time, but now, who knows... Probably won’t eat here again. They can keep the change.
As soon as I walked in I loved the ambiance with the decorative pieces to the music - just perfect. We were greeted and sat immediately. They gave out chips and salsa to start and the chips were nice and warm. It doesn’t seem like the staff was that talkative almost like something was wrong so not sure what that’s about but all together very amiable. Whatever chile sauce they gave us was great! Great kick to it and they have reasonable combo prices. They’ve got everything too from tortas to churros and ice cream. This place is also in a great location with plenty of parking in the back. I saw a lot of people in the restaurant by the time I left too so seems pretty popular here. Hopefully I’ll be back in the future!
To start, the service was good, very attentive and nice young lady waitress… BUT this rating is for the food. This was the WORST steak taco I’ve ever had. It’s like it was made with steakums or some other frozen shaved beef. Definitely not fresh grilled flank steak or sirloin as it should be. Is this supposed to be “authentic” Mexican food?? I would not recommend this place to a friend. Bottom of the list.
Food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Didn’t have to wait for food very long. Ordered the chimichangas, very good. Definitely recommend.
Everything was the bomb! Ordered drinks ? meals and dessert and it was all very good? and crazy fast. The steak tacos were omg so yummy wish we ordered more❣️ and our waiter was the sweetest wish I'd gotten his name to give recognition. We'll definitely be back again.
I'm not one to leave reviews but I just had to this time. We ordered 4 meals, for carryout and lemme tell you, everything was absolutely delicious, and hot. The steak was tender and even the beans and rice were good. Will absolutely be back to eat here. The whole family loved it!!
Very generous portions on authentic Mexican food! Consider sharing a plate if your not that hungry. Margarita was delicious.
Everything was delicious.? Cheese Chile Relleno my favorite. The guacamole fresh with an excellent flavor. Recommend 100%
We came here one night after Mexican Fiesta at Ford and Telegraph was closed, and never looked back.They're limited staff right now, but the two servers they have bust their butt handling 15+ tables, which is more than I can say for places with 3x the staff.Food always comes out fast and tastes great. Repeat customers again and again.
