We had one #1 , one #2, one mac and cheese and one milkshake. We paid 46$ without tip. It's a bit expensive for what it is. The #1 is just 2 tenders, some fries and 2 slices of bread.. I don't understand the price.My son asked for a spoon or a fork for the mac and cheese and they didn't have any ! How was he supposed to eat it ?! He had to take it home to eat it. Disappointed.Despite of that, the chicken was good and well spiced. And the sauce was good.
This is more of a 4.5 out of 5, but I'm going to be a little bit generous like the size of these chicken tenders.I definitely recommend the tender and the slider combo (Dave#3 combo) a spice level of medium or hot to start. I paired that with a small fountain drink. The total for this was in the ballpark of 15 bucks.I know what you're thinking, that's not cheap. You're right, it may be price a touch high but if you can stomach it, your stomach will ironically thank you. I found the chicken to be flavorful and juicy, the fries to be hot fresh crispy was just enough of that mild spice to add a little something, don't get me started on the sauce.Overall if you're in the area there's hot chickens well with the visit. ???
I expected this to be good. I love hot&spicy food, and the reapers chicken tenders weren't hotter than Frank Red Hot sauce. I believe I was given old chicken that's been sitting under a hot lamp, instead of cooked to order. And to think I left a 5% tip thinking I was getting some good food. 12 bucks for one tender,small cheese fries, and a medium drink. Then I added two extra tender for a total 31.37. I'm never coming here again. Please look at the picture
The price is a little high at first glance, but when you get your food the amount and size of the chicken definitely makes up for it. Great job with this one guys we really enjoyed it ?
This was my first time trying Dave’s hot chicken & to be honest it was okay! I found a peace of hair in pickles, I didn’t like the tenders that much, the sliders where the only thing I liked. Fries where cold. Beside the food the place is beautiful inside, services was good
The menu says sliders but these are hamburger sizes. And the chicken is huge!! Loved every bite. I usually don't like chicken breast because they tend to be dry but this was actually juicy! I got the spicy but i barely felt any heat! Either I got the wrong order or I have to kick it up a notch. They are very busy with lots of pick takeaways so who knows if I got the wrong spice but I don't mind coming back here again because the chicken is worth it.

Pretty good fried chicken. Had the reaper combo #2. Very filling. The spice level is just right. Won't hurt or make you sweat but gives a good kick for spice lovers.
After the long wait for a new chicken joint, I was so happy to see Daves Hot Chicken coming to Howell. Finally had it for lunch today and it 110% lived up to the hype. The sliders (add cheese) are literally the best chicken sandwich you’ll have North of Tennessee.Fries, perfectly crispy and well seasoned.Chicken, so tender and juicy with a crunchy and hot breading! I got the hot chicken sliders, and did not disappoint in the heat!Some reviews commented about the pricing, being a little high. I would agree if the food wasn’t down right delicious. The sliders are much bigger than I excepted. I can definitely put down some food, yet the number 2 filled me right up!Also, the chocolate shake/malt is amazing as well.All in all, an amazing new addition to our town. I highly recommend it. Will be having it for lunch again this week!
I tried this place today for the first time and it was overall okay. We got the slider and the tender(medium spice) and mac & cheese as a side. The chicken was well seasoned and the mac & cheese had a kick to it which was nice. I like the fact that it was halal too.The chicken had a bit of an oily taste which was not the best in my opinion. I definitely had better fried chicken at other places. However, I would still recommend this place as the food wasn’t bad overall.
