I came for iftaar and made a reservation and it wasn’t busy and got seated almost immediately so that was great. However, once we wanted to order we were informed that they were low on both chicken and meat shawarma and it wasn’t enough just for sandwiches. I didnt want any sandwiches for iftaar, I came for an entree. So we ended up ordering a shish kabob entree with fries and fattoush, a hummus with chicken appetizer, and some lentil soup. The shish kabob was raw and the portion was very small for the price. The fries and fattoush were really good, but the lentil soup was very thin and it was alright. They brought out my hummus with chicken appetizer but with meat instead. I sent it back and they brought it out with chicken, but it was not sautéed like how it says in the menu.Everything was also supposedly “all out.” They had no pepper, no pine nuts for the hummus, and no shawarma. It was just not the best experience.
Don't waste the employee's time, they are too busy catching up on what they missed at school or during the Pandemic. And there are plenty of better mediterranean restaurants in the immediate area. They are know for there grilled chicken and the reason I feel is because the only thing with good flavor when compared to everything else. Fries were good.
I had Fatoosh, chicken tawook, kibee and white rice. They give you so much good food and it all tastes so delicious! Excellent for families since its larger portion sizes and good for sharing. The staff are so kind! They do have staff who can speak Arabic as well! Be prepared to spend some money since most meals were moderate and if you're eating with other people the prices will add up!
Favorite place to get Mediterranean food. I drive 20 minutes and past 40 other restaurants to come here. The platter or plate deals are perfect for a family or group to eat for a really good price.
One of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had! Employees are very nice and respectful, food is always fresh!!
I have been eating here once a week for the last 5 years. Just recently they changed the portion sizes on the majority of their food. I would get a $9 fattousch salad every week. Currently that same salad is now double the price $18. This franchise is horribly taking advantage of all the customers using covid as an excuse.Go to baba's. You get much more food for the price
This was a great place to check out! We chose to dine in, but it was insanely busy the entire time with takeout orders! I've never seen so much foot traffic in and out of a restaurant while I was eating, so clearly this place is busy. The food was great! We decided to order the Country Plate and share it, to get a variety of food. It came with Shish tawook, shish kabob, meat kafta, 2 grape leaves, 2 falafel, 2 fried kibbee, meat and chicken shawarma, rice, hommous and salad. Plus, they give you the delicious hot bread with garlic sauce! It was so much food, for such a good price. We really enjoyed most of the food! The service was good, too. They were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic place! Food was tasty, came out super quick and had huge portion sizes. 2-3 people can easily split the dinner that comes with 2 sides. My preference was the meat schwarma over the chicken schwarma. The garlic sauce with the warm fresh pita bread was also amazing. Even my kids were able to get cheese sticks, fries and chicken tenders.
Been going here for over 15 years. Growing up in Dearborn this was my go to place, my favorite Arabic cuisine and I would recommend this place to so many family and friends. The past few years I've noticed inconsistencies with the food. So many times they would make mistakes, and I would let things slide. Many times they would substitute the meat shawarma with extra chicken, even though I am here for the meat. They don't even tell you. Call them and the lady will say sorry but we didn't have much left, next time have a free shawarma on us. But next time comes they make the same mistakes, they substitute whatever they want without asking the customer of offering a discount? I let all this slide. But last time was the straw and it was it for me. Ordered a large family order for over 10 people, and it was a disappointment. An embarrassment. Food is mediocre. Inconsistent person cooking and I can tell. The meat kabob were small like little pebbles. Hummus changed, it used to be my favorite thing ever, not anymore. No hot bread? Kafta was solid as a rock, rigid. We're absolutely done. Moving on to a different go to Arabic restaurant. Good luck ?
Unfortunately one startI ordered a boneless chicken with hummus and they charge me for a dozen bread when I am home I found out the hummus is half of the order and the bread only 6 pieces old not cooked right
