Food was good, service was pretty terrible. Took 15 minutes to get someone to take our order. Served food without plates or utensils. Did not get checked on once during the entire meal. I had to get up and get plates and soy sauce off of other tables myself. My wife said something to the effect of, “nobody really cares that we’re here” and it was absolutely accurate.I’d say put your money on a different restaurant unless you’re very patient have lots of time on your hands to wrangle the wait staff.
Right as we walked it we were immediately acknowledged and sat at a table. Amazing service with recommendations and clear care. The food was amazing and so filling. Ramen was enough to take home for another day which is great for us since we’re traveling. The sushi was lovely too and very presentable. Seems like a fun place to be in a beautiful downtown area.
Its a good place, but food needs flavoring, the food is ok but ramen is a soul food, it doesn’t feel hearty it feels like we ordered water with floating veggies and the spicy one feels like some just threw on the chilli powder at the end, when you are drinking the soup the spices hit the back of your throat and makes you choke on broth. Meat was nicely cooked. Sushi and buns were grt, spring roll was ordered for the table in the me u it was said 6 we only got 3, so told them we are not paying that price its half the order hence half price. Wait staff said well ppl who come here already know sometimes u get 5 sometimes 4 depend on the size of spring roll, i said idc pls stop false advertising. But at the end they gave the discount. This was my second visit here, I have to say the only reason they get 4 star is their wait staff is really! A++++ on service. Food was also served promptly.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I usually don't care for breaded wings, but the sweet and spicy Seoul Wings were phenomenal.The rest of the meal was great as well - from the bao buns to the specialty roll, to even the service and vibe inside.I left extremely satisfied, and I'm sure I'll be back whenever I find myself back in Detroit.
Ok first of all I’ve been looking for a one of a kind restaurant like this in the Dearborn area and let me just tell you it does not disappoint. They offer a variety of Asian cuisine and everything on the menu is delicious. The atmosphere is amazing and it is very inviting. From what I understand everything for the most part is halal. Definitely one of my go to restaurants when I don’t know what to eat their portion sizes are huge and definitely shareable. I give this place 5 stars for the great food great service and great price for the quality and quantities of food!
Great service and good. Looked this place up, had good reviews so figured u would try it. The service was great, I would call them to place the order, instead of online. Pulled up to the drive thru and my order was ready in the 15 minutes I was told. The food was fresh and tasty, just like I was hoping. I will surely eat here again.
I ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash for the first time because I wanted to try it out. I could not personally go there as I was sick. I ordered two sushi rolls and the rock shrimp appetizer. The food was okay overall. The sushi tasted fresh and I don’t really have any complaints on it. The fish was was fresh and didn’t taste odd. The only issue I had was the rock shrimp arrived ice cold.. I was a bit disappointed because it tasted really good. I also never gotten spicy mayo with my order.Overall, I would recommend. Maybe not delivery but in person. I’m hoping to try it in person soon.
I wanted to give blue fish a try and was disappointed in the quality of my takeaway order. I should preface that I've lived in Japan for 4 years, so 1. I have high expectations and 2. I know what good rice and fish should taste like. The ramen was actually quite nice. Flavorful broth with loads of ingredients that make a proper ramen. The sushi was not good. The salmon on 2 of my 3 rolls was terribly fishy and inedible. Fish in general should not have a terrible smell or be slimy in texture/ touch. This was immediately thrown away. I did bring this to the restaurants attention and they said "it was fine" and hung up with no resolution.
After days of snowy roads in early January 2022 , my wife and I decided to go out for a meal . We are both amateur cooks are are usually somewhat disappointed when eating out. This was not the case at Blue Fish . We both had appetizers and rolls . Every single item was perfectly fresh and the flavors were unbelievable. We hadn’t been to Blue Fish since Covid started and were totally impressed with their total remodel. Very intimate and well thought out . We highly recommend Blue Fish for a date night and a great night out
Stay away. We are living in a time of COVID and the young man who was at the door had highly questionable hygiene. Enter at your own risk. Not to mention the Sashimi was not good at all. I only went because my Holiday guest wanted to try it. I will stick to Oyaki Dearborn as my first choice.
