Ordered pizza, got home and it was burnt. Offered replacement but had to bring pizza back first.
We like the subs so thought we would try pizza and have delivered been waiting for my pizza. First hour w there was a mix-up on line we called they said sorry they took order over phone so then wait over another hour had to call again. then finally gets here. The pizza was good would have been better hot a little burnt around edges. Probably will get food again but not delivered and not online
Absolutely delicious pizza. Its a family owned business, and they're always so nice. The service is fast and its always a pleasure to go there. Definitely better than some mainstream pizzerias. ?????
Pizza is amazing just ask for extra sauce i ordered a small square 8 topping today and it was dry..wait time 50 mins but will be back
Buccaneer sub was horrible. The bread wasn't cut right so it fell apart. I asked for extra vinegarett didnt get it. Quality of biondes food has gone down since becoming more of a coney island. I ordered thru doordash and unfortunately couldn't take it back?
Really liked going there over the years. But like many of the reviews I have read here it's true it is NOT THE SAME!! The owner seems very sincere in his response that the ingredients are the same BUT IT DOESN'T TASTE THAT WAY!! It was noticeable from the start! The pepperoni doesn't have any taste nor does the ham etc. I ordered the same things from for many years so believe me I know the difference!
Had an issue with delivery. Then manager called me from his personal cell. After taking with him, he very upset and disappointed with his staff for not handling the situation Properly. He apologize and we worked everything out.
I’m 34. I’ve been going there since I was a child and the Bike/Card shop was next door. It was my dads favorite place for subs, as well as mine, my moms, and my brothers, our whole lives. Up until a little while ago. I’ve seen the owner claim they use all the same ingredients on the responses. That’s just not true. The buccaneer is a shell of what it used to be and the pizza went downhill as well. My dad stopped going here about 6 months ago, after a steady 20 years of once a month. After today, I’m done as well. So disappointing. I waited until after the 3rd awful experience to post this. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review, but this is such a drastic decline, I felt it was necessary….. I wasn’t referring to the list of ingredients on the sandwich. Referring to the quality of the meat. Can’t say for sure, but there’s a reason so many people feel it isn’t the same as it used to be. Simply isn’t as good. I can assure you this isn’t a “set up”. Just genuine disappointment. Was the single favorite sub for almost 3 decades.
We used to love this place. We would buy pizza from there every other Friday, if not, every Friday. We put in an order and got caught by a train. (They are located right next to train tracks.) We called to let them know we were caught by it... We got there and our food was gone. They said they wouldn't remake it and didn't offer anything to rectify the situation. We had a bad experience and decided that we wouldn't spend anymore money there.
Things are definitely different. Paid $15 for a sub with extra meat and there was NOTHING extra on there. The meats taste different as well and not in a good way. Ive been going here since i was a little kid, in my 30’s now, and im very disappointed. I miss the old days and how they used to be....probably wont be back....
