The food was so good and delicious. The place is clean except the bathroom. They need to clean and take care of it more. The price was good and all the family loved and enjoyed the food. The one problem that they have the waiting time was long until the food arrived. Also, there are many families wating for long time until they cleaned the tables to be ready for them. I think they need to have more employees.
Authentic Iraq Dishes. I have been here twice, and both times they did not disappoint. Served us soup at the beginning and tea at the end complimentary. We ordered the large trays and came with rice, stew, bread and all sorts of meat and salad. Its definitely a place worth stopping in and grabbing some traditional food. The authentic Iraqi bread is also a plus!
I come a long way for this food. It's about a 40 minute drive for me. But so worth it. I haven't had a single meal to complain about. And that bread!!! The bread is huge, moist and chewy. Not like other pita bread at all. I would come here just for that!My only complaint is most of the menu consists of 2 or more person portions, therefore the prices seem high. But the 2 person portions are so big it's enough to feed one person for at least four days.
Friendly portions are huge. The meal we ordered was for 3 people but the amount of food could easily feed 5 or 6. The food tasted great and the staff was friendly. Its Iraqi food so definitely get the lamb.
The taste is great here and the prices are rather good, one of the restaurants that I recommend in the city of Derboin Michigan
Definitely would not recommend. The rice tasted like a wet rag, the meat and chicken made me and my table sick. The soup was thick and no taste. The service wasn't great at all. She has 3 tables and completed neglected us after the food was delivered, the food was dry and we couldn't get refills because our waitress was no where to be found.
Nice place for Iraqi cuisine
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food here is so good and the people here are so nice. They cooked the food perfectly and even though we ate a lot there was still some left over. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends!
Best Iraqi Food in town. Every plate taste like the best it could be.Friendly workers, fair prices.Lots of free welcome plates (supe, salad, tea...)Not the best place to go when you in hurry...specially at weekends. But its the best places to get your family or friends gathering
You had me at chicken kafta. There is nowhere for you to stand for a carry out order here at all. I ordered a half order of chicken kafta, chicken shawarma with side of large hummus, a small salad and a large salad and a lentil soup to go. Order takes about 25 minutes. It's busy inside, that's great. They ran out of hummus, had to wait another 5-10 more minutes for them to make some more or cancel it on my order. Hummus is another must with middle . They don't have any garlic spread here, told me it's a Lebanese thing and they don't have it here. Bummer, we eat our shawarma and kafta with garlic sauce, always. Had to go pick it up elsewhere then. $55.06 is our total for our meal tonight. I do like that they gave us the big flat bread, it’s cold since home is half hour away, but it’s still chewy. The hummus is really bland, lacking in flavor, lemon or anything actually. Did they miss some seasoning in their haste to make a quick batch for my to go order or something. The chicken kafta is dry, quite so in fact. Good thing I got some garlic sauce elsewhere. The chicken shawarma meat is thick and mostly white meat, but it’s dry too. The large and small salad aren’t much different as far as size goes. They are both unfortunately made with iceberg lettuce. Romaine or a mix would be better. Dressing is decent at least. Some pita chips somehow made it into my salad. It would also be best to keep the dressing on the side since it was rather soggy by the time I returned home. The lentil soup isn’t bad, a bit runny, but okay as far as flavor.
