The last time I had Del taco was when they first opened this location.... That was a while ago lol. But the tacos I had today were like a dollar store version of taco bell. This should definitely go on the list of restaurants you go to after leaving the bar.
I don't know if I should rate this place a five star or a one star. I'm here on a Wednesday night at 1:00 in the morning, and the drive-thrus absolutely slammed. I probably waited in the Drive-Thru for about 20 minutes. When I get to the speaker I chat up the cashier a little bit and they let me know there's only two people working. Now these two employees are actually boss, and I would like to give this store five star rating because of such awesome employees. however whoever the general manager is only putting two employees on shift for a busy night is absolutely ridiculous. So I'm going to give this restaurant a one star because these employees don't control how this restaurant's operated, owners and general managers do. Now I usually stop at this del Taco when I'm in detroit, I live in Lansing. And I'll continue to go to the del Taco because I'm from California and I need my del Taco. But the store really needs to step their game up and not leave their employees out to dry
The food rarely disappoints. It was tasty without any condiments. However, the three stars are for not including any condiments, which were requested in the online order. They also neglected to include any flatware or napkins.This was problematic because I was taking my food to a place that had none of those items. It took almost an hour to fill the order, but that wasn't a problem. Since I was traveling far to get to the restaurant, and the drive thru line was long, my order was ready once I arrived at the window.
People are great people, Joanna the manager , Nick the cook were great and the other two young girls were very nice girls and Courteous. I give them 10 points for their service.
Great beyond meat tacos and burritos! I feel a lot better eating it compared to regular meat and I hope to hear more vegan options becoming available in the future from Del Taco~
I let the cashier know it was my second time visiting instead of visiting the drive-thru I came in inside ask for my order to make fresh due to the bad experience previous was very confident and the fact that I explained my first experience and that the second would be better but no. I will not be returning
Wow really good, tons of cheese on the tacos, taco salad was excellent...closes at 7 on the inside but at least it's a 24 hour drive through...
I love the food at Dell taco but I am super disappointed for the last time.I ordered ahead of time online and scheduled a pick up for a specific time. I chose the option to go pick Up inside and it let me choose that option. I have been sitting in the drive-through area for nearly 20 minutes at this point, the doors are locked, I have tried calling asking if someone could bring my prepaid order out to me and they said no. Extremely frustrating.
made an order on 4-14-22 around 9:30pm. The service was slow and horrible. The order I made was a #1 meal with a dr pepper and a spicy jack quesadia and the order was missing the french fries and it didn't have any chicken in the taco and was the worst service I have ever had and I was too tired to bring it back in to get my money back. I was a faithful customer, but not not more. Worse service and food.
They ALWAYS mess up my order, today they gave me steak instead of chicken (I strictly do not eat beef) and when I say no pico de gallo ITS STILL IN IT. They're so slow and their service isn't the best during the evening
