Raw ribs! Absolutely the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I left a more detailed review on trip advisor but bottom line this customer of 20 years is never, ever going to order from you again. And btw, Mr.mouthy who wanted to physically fight my son when he returned the raw ribs really needs to get a clue as to how to treat customers. You refused a refund, I will dispute the charges with my bank. Food was returned to you, you don't get paid for attempting to poison people with raw pork! And to suggest it should have been requested well done when ordered is as ridiculous as the young men who wanted to fight an unhappy customer. Shame on you!
First, I have been a customer since day one! In the past year it's been hit or miss with them. Undercooked wings, soggy fries, pizza just ok. Today was the very end of my patronage though. My son ordered ribs and they were raw inside. I called them and it was suggested that if I wanted well done pork ribs that I had to request them that way. I assumed that all pork should be cooked well done, never pink inside. Then was told if i wanted a replacement that I would have to give back the original. No problem, I had no desire to keep the raw ribs and he had only taken a bite of one. Then my son said" no thanks, I'm good ' I'd have let it go at that, I told them so perhaps they'd do better next time. Then the one on the phone got rude with me and my son heard it so he decided to deliver the ribs back to the restaurant. The counter person and all of the staff came from the back when he brought the box to the counter, didn't want him to open it in front of the crowded waiting area. They took it back with no offer of refund, no apology just lots of testosterone. :) Lesson learned, never again crazy pizza. In these difficult times you'd think an establishment would try to satisfy a loyal customer. I know we aren't your best customer but with an average order of $50 at least twice a month for 20 years, I'd say we were pretty damn good customers.
Honestly I’m super picky and have a weird order but they treat me so well and their dough and sauce is the best I’ve had. Not sure why they don’t have a 5 star rating. Customer service is top notch and every time I come they are busy so you know they know what they are doing. Also they are open later then other pizza shops so a nice perk as a night shift worker. Since I moved here it’s my favorite spot
Taste was there but not great. Unfortunately my pepperoni was burnt so I had to take it off. So technically all I tasted was a cheese pizza. I’ll try giving this place another shot in the future. For now I’m going to stick to my review. But I will say they have great carrot cake!
Been trying to give this place chance after chance for 6yrs...only bcuz theyre open later than most places. But its pretty much impossible to get a normal pizza with flavored crust made right. Theyre very skimpy with the cheese & sauce...most of the time the cheese is all in the middle of the pizza and the top half of EVERY slice the cheese bakes away, where its just burnt bread with dried up spots of the red sauce...and when ordering & "paying" for cajun crust it is NEVER on there...& cant be added afterwords bcuz it has to be baked onto the crust when the pizza is in the oven!!! No matter how much u request... "to PLEASE make sure theirs cajun on the crust all the way around"... The little teenage boys they have working their only put it on there like 55% of the time...if your lucky. I dont understand how hard it is to sprinkle powered cajun onto crust when a customer pays them to do it... Those young guys up there have no work ethic, or pride in their job at all!!!No wonder this place has a three-star review... I should have checked the reviews/warnings from other customers experiences before ordering from this place on and off for the past 6 years & wasting my money on their mediocre(at best) Pizza... Im done wasting money on this place & the lazy employees!!!✌?
The staff is so rude and unprofessional! They'll put you on hold and never pick the phone back up again. And if you hang up and call back, they put you right back on hold. I called from the parking lot to place my carry out order (rather than running in and out with my toddler multiple times). He says "I'm busy". That's funny because the parking lot is empty! If you don't wanna work, just say that! I drove 2 blocks down Telegraph and got my pizza from Domino's instead... Domino's pizza is better anyways!
Had a layover in Detroit so wanted to try Detroit-style square pizza, saw this on Uber Eats near the airport and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we all found it to be below average. The bread is extremely doughy, almost as though it wasn’t cooked long enough. There is absolutely no taste of a crust - it’s just doughy all around. There was also so little tomato sauce we had to pry the cheese up to see if they even added it (it’s there, but the thinnest layer possible). Not a true deep-dish either, more like a deep dish small stretched to a medium (it’s definitely not a large like it’s listed). Overall really disappointing, will have to come back to Detroit another time to try real Detroit-style because this wasn’t it.
Horrible. The food was cold, yet that wasn't the worst. The picture I shared is of the ribs and chicken. Most of the chicken was still raw. The ribs had a rancid taste to it. The person that answered the phone when I called back was rude. He literally wanted to argue about the poor quality of the food. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Used to love this place until the food started arriving cold or cooked differently everytime. I placed an order one time and they never showed because they said they were too busy and missed it. I gave another chance considering I live about 5 mins away and I had to call after 2 hours of waiting to check where my order was. I'm not sure what happened to this business but it's not the same service.
Our favorite local independent pizza place! Their service is great. And the pizza is too -- fresh ingredients. They're generous with toppings too. They also have a really good, big menu with a lot of variety. We love their Chicken Shawarma Pizza (add the pickles, just do it!) Also to try their Cheeseburger Pizza, Mediterranean Pizza, Shawarma Combo with rice, Chicken and Beef Shawarma wraps with fries, Ribs for 2 combo, and we also order a custom pizza with Kafta, Sojuk, tomato and onion pizza too. What I love most is that their prices aren't out of control. Good specials. Very fast! And they still deliver themselves. I hope they don't move to completely outsourcing orders and deliveries to GrubHub, DoorDash etc. like most everyone else. Support your local independent pizza shops. Crazy pizza is Crazy Good.
