Used to be great. Two out of three times the meal I ordered had brown gravy dumped everywhere. Every time I ask for sauce on the side, I’m told’ “we always put it on the side.” They don’t. Another time we ordered a meal, the counter girl told us we didn’t. Not sure what’s going on. Disappointed.
It wasn't the best. I just moved into the neighborhood so I tried it out. I don't plan on going back unless I'm desperate. Usually, I have enough food leftover to eat at another time. I barely had enough sesame chicken to fill me up! Way too much rice. Also, while I was there, other casual customers were complaining about their service. I will try one more time to see if it was just a one time deal...Maybe.
About 8 months ago I tried lucky star and it was ok. The only thing they could’ve done better was add more sauce to my general dinner. I recently decided to try it again because I had been craving some Chinese. Once I opened my general dinner I seen that was sauce was not on the chicken in-fact they had it separately in a cup. The chicken was hard and honestly wasn’t even chicken I tasted no meat. I didn’t want to throw my paid meal away so I decided to pour the sauce onto my general dinner. After about 2 hours from eating the dinner I threw up several times and continued to throw up onto the next day. If I could I would leave 0.0 stars. #nonluckystar
I get Mongolian beef. So good! Good is fresh and hot. I really like they are open till 10pm.
General Tso Chicken was not good. Flavor was good but the batter was stringy and barely had any chicken in it. Chicken in Chicken fried rice looked a little undercooked. The chicken nuggets I got for my kid were some of the best chicken nuggets I ever tasted though. Whoever answered the phone when I called did not have good customer service etiquette and yes they spoke clear English, they just did not have good customer service skills.
Despite the 3.9 stars I was craving Egg Foo Young enough to tey this place out. Everywhere the wait was too long. Turned out this place is a lil gem! The Szechuan Chicken was excellent as was the Egg Foo Young. They were quite busy but wait was minimal. Very good food, portions, and prices. We will be back!
This restaurant does not adhere to their hours of business. Been several occasions that I’ve ordered delivery with Doordash (both Doordash and google stating that they’re open) and my order being cancelled because they’re supposedly closed. I called the restaurant to order once and they answered the phone just to say they’re closed. Seems like they don’t care about their business.
Decent, fair prices, no in store service yet though, only take out.
Apparently I ordered a side of hair with my chicken and broccoli. Waste of money. First thing I see when I open the tray is aboht 6 pieces of black hair.Go to the Chinese restaurant down the road.. Much better food never has hair in it. 23634 Van Born Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125
Food was just okay. It wasn’t terrible, but I probably won’t order it again
