Wow I am sorry I have missed this restaurant for so long. Stopped in for breakfast this morning. The food was good. I rarely leave with a "doggie bag" did today. I would definitely return. I had hippie hash ? why this name I don't know. There were four of us, the bill add averaged a shade over 11 bucks. Seems like a lot but that is what I get for encouraging inflation.
They had one of the best breakfast I have ever ate!
Tristan ?sp by herself did a fabulous job to wait on over 30 people at one time for Class of 70 delayed class 50th reunion. We had the whole back room. Not one mistake of an order & attentive for coffee refills. Food was delicious.

Overall I give this Coney Island a 2 star rating. The service and wait time was great. The issues are with the food… I ordered eggs, links, hash browns and pancakes. The eggs cane out great other than that the pancakes were grainy and bland, the links were hard like they was made an hour before and served to me and my hash browns had were not cooked all the way. My wife ordered a Veggie Omelette and it was overcooked but On the plus side she said her toast came out right. I hope the place pays attention to this review and have a good look at how the food is being prepared and served. Maybe it wasn’t a good day for them. I also believe they need to work on cleanliness and repairs for the restroom. The mens bathroom is in rough shape.
I absolutely love this place! The food has always been very good and never had a bad experience. I order from here at least once a month or more. I Recommend the "Coney Island Supreme, The Uncle Kenny's Burger, The Village Omlet or any one of the Hippy Hash's. You won't be disappointed!

The owners are great people and are working in the kitchen every day. Try the corned beef Hippie Hash - it's not hash from a can. Green pepper, onion, tomato, cheese, hash browns and strips of corned beef all grilled together. It's really, really good!
