I went there yesterday morning with my dad and had a terrible experience. When we got there the place was pretty much empty and the waitress was arguing with this couple over their carryout. She comes over to our table in a bad mood and takes our order. I specifically said no onions on my omelette cause I am allergic and I got extra onions. She admitted she didn’t write down no onions and I wasn’t upset, things happen. What I am upset about is both my dad are suffering from food poisoning right now and I have Crohn’s. This is not funny and I will be calling the health department now
Food is good but they are inconsistent. Had a great Greek salad the previous week, was really looking foward to another salad, but it was only about half the size!Really annoying when the food is so different depending on who is working!
Excellent food and good prices. We have been here twice now and were impressed both times.
The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was so good. Will definitely be going back.
My vehicle needed repairs about a block away. The wait time for repair 2-3 hours. I was told try Alex that's where most of their customers go when waiting. Well I went Monday, had breakfast and got a call the repair shop didn't have right part. I rescheduled for Thursday, went back again. Staff was kind, friendly and considerate. I must admit, I felt uncomfortable because I didn't know if they wanted me there for such a long period of time, but no problem. I'm going back. Food was good too
This establishment was just great. The interior was decorated with colored eggs and it was just what we needed when we discovered Alex's by chance. What a great discovery!! The service, menu and food were all excellent. The chicken stirfry and the cod my sister had were great. Will definitely be back.
Nice quaint diner. They have the best Salads!!Wait staff is always pleasant, food is great and arrives quickly. I have dined in as well as ordered take out. Never had any issues. Can't go wrong for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
All the food is very good, but the corned beef hash is canned. I very specifically asked if it was made on premises before ordering. For the cost of the side order of corned beef hash, I expect it to be fresh. Other than that, it's an excellent breakfast diner. 4.5 stars otherwise.
This is my gma's favorite place to eat. Her and I do breakfast once a month and we always come here. Food is AWESOME! waitress are super friendly and attentive. The cooks get the orders right. This is an awesome place for some food. I highly recommend coming here!
Absolutely fantastic. When everywhere else had over an hour and a half wait, the only wait I had was the time it took to go from the door to the table. Drinks immediately and everything else followed just the same. Would definitely go back and recommend.
