Great food and reasonable prices
Very disappointed!! This restaurant has a lot of potential, but time to time they fail to deliver. Consistency is the biggest issue for me. Here’s my review for everything I ordered: Bihari Kabobs: Terrible this time around. Spice combination was very bad and it tasted like I was eating meat with raw spices. Very salty, Very acidic taste. Yuk!!!!Chicken Seekh Kabobs: Cooked perfect but very salty and completely different than what I had last time.Chicken Tikka: That was my favorite and will go back for thatNihari: I can’t really go into detail since I don’t care for Nihari, but my kids enjoyed it.
Hands down the best chicken, kafta skewers and rice in town. We ordered a large BBQ platter for a birthday party just today and this place never disappoints. Fresh, tender and super juicy. We’ll definitely order over and over again!
I bought different dishes from the BBQ list and I have not tasted something so fresh, tender, juicy and tasty in this area like their dishes. This now is go to location for anything grilled! You will never regret any of the BBQ options they have.
Staff is very nice, location is good and taking precautions for take out to prevent spread of Illness. Food is overall good. Parathas are delicious as was the mango lassi. I will definitely be returning to try more items.
Their malai boti and chicken puffs are my favorite!! Their Chinese is incredibly delicious! Highly recommend trying any item on their menu, you won’t be disappointed! Lovely customer service, very modern and artsy decor and overall such a nice family owned restaurant! 10/10 would recommend!
Absolutely amazing food and customer service! I tried their food yesterday and I’m sooo glad I did because now I’ll be coming here every week! It reminds me of home. I also got to speak with the owner of the restaurant and she is the absolute sweetest lady and her staff are are so professional and respectful! They gave me my food in a timely manner and everything was packaged neatly and with care, you can tell they really put thought into every aspect of your experience at the restaurant! 10/10 experience, I recommend everyone try this place out and support this beautiful restaurant! :)
We wanted to try out the snacks and appetizers they have.The burgers were yummy, zinger was crispy and sauce was good and the bun kabab was a good portion and tasted great. I would recommend adding the egg and kolachi chutney on the bun kabab. Our personal favourite was the chicken puffs, they brought back the taste of the puffs we have tried so many times in our visits of Pakistan.The highlight of our order was the kulfi falooda, it was really good and had the perfect blend of rooh afza and kulfi.Additionally, the owner was very kind and genuinely cared about the order being correct. He was great to talk to and was making sure that we had everything we needed with our food.We are used to eating Desi food in Brampton and Mississauga, this place is definitely on par in terms of the snacks and appetizers. Having Kolachi cater my only daughters wedding was the worst experience of my life. I have never felt so much stress, tension, and anxiety in a few hour time span before. The owner is accusing me of changing the food delivery time from 12pm to 5pm. Not once did I ever contact her via text, phone or email. I accompanied my daughter alongside my husband on 2 occasions to meet her to go over all the details of the event. With over 250 guests and no food with no proper communication or updates and full payment checks already cashed by them, we suspected this was a complete fraud which is why we felt the need to suggest getting the police involved. I arrived at the hall at 12pm and saw absolutely no food or dessert set up. All calls and texts that my daughter made from 12:07pm-3:10pm were ignored. The restaurant picked up a call from my husband around 12:30 and said “what shaadi are you talking about?” “Oh that event is in the evening at 5pm” They then promised to have the food there by 2:30 so we elongated our nikkah program until 2pm. But even past that time there was no food or communication. The food arrived around 3:30 which is over 3 hours late. I’m not sure if they confused our event with another event or just have horrible time management and didn’t have anything made in time. We also provided all dessert and stands/decor for the dessert table with clear instructions on how to set it up. It was not done even close to how we wanted and half of our dessert was not even placed by them. Over $1000 worth of our dessert was wasted. I understand catering can be stressful but this mistake could have been salvaged with proper communication and solutions such as sending some appetizer in the mean time while the main food was coming. Instead, our guests munched on desserts that we provided, banquet hall coffee, and candy party favors for over a hour. The food arrived so late haphazardly. Banquet hall workers were waiting outside the hall with carts ready to set up. When the car finally arrived, they saw us waiting outside and instead of using the clear roundabout in front, they chose to park their car far away in the parking lot. Their older male worker then chose to carry the food so slowly towards us. Even the banquet hall worked laughed in disbelief never seeing such behavior before. Besides that, there was no proper apology nor did the owner who promised us so much in our in person meetings bother to even show up. During our two meetings she also showed up late to both of them. She was extremely pushy and kept requesting us to use her waiters and decor services as well, thank god we didn’t or else everything would’ve been ruined. My other vendors hired who took care of this completed it in a timely fashion. This isn’t some $50 take out food order placed an hour earlier than can be messed up. It was over 5 grand catering service order placed a month in advance with full payment. There was also a meeting 3 days before the event where the time was reconfirmed that she would arrive by 11am and have everything set up by 12pm. I would never wish this type of service upon anyones event, this is a warning to not use Kolachi to cater any of your events.
Wish i could give them zero stars! They ruined our event! Do NOT recommend at all. We catered from them for an event of 250 people. The food came 3 hours late. The owner stopped responding to our calls while guests were waiting for the food! Horrible service. Items were missing and bread wasn't even enough for half the people. We paid her extra just to setup the desert table. They never did it as per directions. Overall extremely disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.
