My lady and I had a GREAT time at Hook & Reel tonight for date night! The drinks were great, the food was fast and delicious, and our server Monica was super friendly while recommending entrees and appetizers. Overall just a really wonderful restaurant experience. Totally recommend this place!
Update: came in today and we had Mia as a server. She is probably one of the nicest people we have met in a long time. She was attentive and so sweet. We ordered hush puppies and I tried the 6 pc Cajun wings (they were big). Husband had the chicken sandwich and he loved it. Everything was still delicious and service was top notch. (Posha is still the BEST BARTENDER in the area!) {added pictures of the hush puppies and chicken sandwich}Came in for a quick bite at the end of happy hour. Their prices for drinks for happy hour are decent. I had the Cajun Caddy. I ordered Catfish basket (fried) with Cajun French fries. Everything was really good.I sat in the bar and the bartender, Posha was moving! Her section was completely FULLL. People at the bar and she has a table on the other side of the restaurant and she was still making drinks for the whole restaurant. She needed help but was clearly working it all out. She was Phenomenal-

This was my first time coming here. We came around 8pm on a Monday night. It was not very busy. The server named Justin was awesome. His greeting was I am so happy to see you tonight. He explained the entire front side of the menus and briefly went over the back.Now for the food we had the boil that comes in a plastic bag. We were able to choose what we wanted to come in the boil. I chose crab legs, sausage, extra corn, it came with potatoes, and 1 corn. I also chose the spicy sauce. The boil was very good except it had a lot of garlic in the mix. My friend had the same thing that has except she added noodles and boiled eggs. Would I go back? Most definitely!
Man..this place was amazing. My first time. Stopped for lunch. Got shrimp,clams,noodles in boil bag. I ate all I could for lunch...took the rest back to KY eith me. Its a little expensive but the lunch special was a great price. See the photo.Again...I got the house sauce and it was awesome.
Ordering is easy, staff have been very friendly. Very expensive, but some of the best seafood in the area. For 2 of us to eat lunch including tip is usually $38.00 to $46.00. We get a fried flounder basket, fried shrimp basket and sometimes hush puppies. You get 8 large shrimp.
Our group of 6 had a great time! Our server Justin was very attentive. He never missed a beat. We each tried the The Reel Catch. Highly recommend seasoned garlic butter as the sauce and mild spice. Price point was extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Dine here recently to celebrate my moms bday and the experience was nothing short of amazing! Our food was perfect and our server Megan made sure our party of 14 was well taken care of. Definitely going to be back!
