Let's be real, the workers here are heroes. I had an overnight stay in Brighton and I knew quite well that likely every restaurant would close by the time I got into town. And I wasn't wrong, except for Taco bell. To the dude complaining about drive thru wait times, you're in line at the only restaurant serving hot food after 8 to 10 PM within miles. Have some patience and respect. Why there isn't a late night diner in town I don't know, but to the staff that made and served us at Taco Bell last weekend, we salute you.
I love Taco Bell so I hate rating it so low. The food is good when we get it but the wait is insane. The last three times I have been there the average wait in the drive thru has been around 25 minutes, and that is being no more than the eighth car in line. The lobby has not been open but even if it were I can't see it being any faster.
I've only been to this location in Brighton three times (all were drive-thru), with Conner waiting on me the last two visits, I'm definitely not exaggerating when I say that Conner is by far one of the BEST employee's Taco Bell has working for them. This last visit as I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker, I was informed with apologies that it would be a short wait until they could take my order due to being very busy. Not until after the customers in the 3 cars ahead of me were taken care of and gone and 22 minutes (yep my OCD self timed it) of me waiting at a silent speaker was I able to place my order. If it weren't for Conner being so pleasant and professional to me and handling the pressure he and the staff that showed up this day to work were under so well.I am not complaining about the the time I had to wait to place my order.I am here to commend and praise Conner and his coworkers, while understaffed putting them in a very stressful situation, they did a fantastic job, with a smile, much enthusiasm and super customer service, that it was well worth the wait.
Updating my review to five stars because my most recent lunch run here was spectacular. The Mexican pizza came back Just 2 days ago, so I pulled up to this store for another hit. While I'm surfing the Taco Bell app, I discover that this location apparently did not serve the Mexican pizza, but they did have the legendary toasted cheddar chalupa. That seemed wrong to me, because it's not an LTO available at any other stores right now, so I pulled into the drive-thru to ask for myself. Not only did they have the toasted cheddar chalupa, but they also had the Mexican pizza. An absolutely dynamic duo of special items, both at my fingertips. I had to get both, with a large Baja blast. Ended up spending 13 bucks but that's a small price to pay for such a delicious fast food experience. Both items were done perfectly. I don't think I'd ever had a better toasted cheddar chalupa: quantity of crispy cheese on the outerior of the shell made my taste buds cry with pleasure. The pizza was perfect too, with a flawless fry on the crust and all of the ingredients in appropriate proportion. And not to be forgotten, service was quick today too. I was through the drive-thru in less than 5 minutes. Bravo, Saturday lunch staff.
Well my wife and I just stopped at taco bell on the way home from shopping. We ordered 2 nacho fries with cheese. Yeah what cheese one container was maybe half full of cheese the other one not even a quarter of the full. Now that was a waste of the containers. Plus what they no longer give their drive thru customers napkins. So it seems if you want nachos fries. Bring your own cheese or ask for extra chees.
Connor was absolutely amazing! First thing he did was ask how I'm doing. Order was right and was very welcoming when I forgot to add something to my order by the time I was at the window. I'll definitely be coming here again, and I appreciate the amazing service I had tonight.
Greatest customer service. I eat plant based and make lots of substitutions on my items - they were so supportive and kind about it! Bobby Luck specifically worked the drive thru, he asked us how our night was and made sure we left smiling! Seriously, get your food here. Bobby, thank you!
So so so so slow. Every one I have interacted with at this location has been very friendly but omg so slow. I would not recommend coming here late at night unless you have 20 - 30 to spare. Also, there drive thru sucks, you can’t even leave if there is a car behind you.Edit - wow finally got to the window and they had music blasting and the guy working the window was visibly drunk or high or both. waited over 30 min. super unprofessional and a huge waste of my time.
Connor and Bobby are the real OGs!!!!! They always hook it up and are always so friendly. Connor always makes sure the order is right, and always hooks it’s up on the hot sauce!! We appreciate you both. Always a great experience when they’re working
The window person was a little cold. I asked for a handful of hot and medium sauses. I received 4 of each . Not acceptable. You need to pay them more and hour so maybe I'll get the right amount of sauces, no attitude and maybe some napkin. I know things have changed. I used to work for Taco Bell back in the early 80s but still we had a code to stand by. The fast food world is pathetic now. Those jobs were supposed to be starter jobs and something to work your way up the ladder. But now is just pathetic. 15.00 an hour to put burger meals together, really. The same meal I bought last summer was 3 dollars more today. Hope corporate is enjoying thier fat cat life. It is not going last. Well that's enough for now. By the way you were out of the special that I wanted. I'm not on a diet but I just eat healthy so today was supposed to be a treat. So I settled for what you had. That's pretty sad. I only treat myself every other monthSo today was a major disappointment. I'll come back but I have encountered all kinds at your drive thru. Enough ranting. Thanks, M Sikorski.
