We did not have a good experience at Retro Rock in bay city .. I was very surprised that they had 4stars .. It’s Beyond me how you can mess up a hamburger but when the meat is old you can’t make it better. The crab cheese was served with a chili sauce and I asked if it was hot or mild the waitress assured me it wasn’t hot well it was and I couldn’t eat it but she just disappeared, she never came back to check if we needed anything like a refill on the water or pop ..It wasn’t like it was busy there and she had other people to take care of .. I can’t recommend this place to anyone..
Had a group of us come in and it was great! There was one of the food items I wasn't a huge fan of but other than that, it's a great place for date night or a friend/family gathering. Great music and great atmosphere!I do feel bad our server but because it seemed like they were overwhelmed with the amount in our group, but they still did an amazing job!
Retro Rocks has been in Bay City for a couple of years and I've never stopped. After eating there the other night with my wife, I'm so embarrassed. It was great. Food was great. Service was great. Beer was cold. Seriously, it's some of the most interesting food we've had in the Tri-Cities. I used to think Midland had the monopoly on great food. RR would give any Midland restaurant a run for it's money.
We've been meaning to stop in here for a long time. I've heard the food was better than average bar food. A group of family and friends dined on a Saturday evening. We were seated in a few minutes. We ordered a variety of meals...tacos, brisket, burgers, chicken strips, salads, apps, and drinks. We were happy with our choices. The food is tasty and well presented. Prices are decent. Nice decor with brick walls. They have music on weekends. Street parking, lot parking across the street. Service was friendly. We did have to ask for the check. Nice place, locally owned.
Staff was great,food was excellent .I unfortunately forgot to take pics while I was here.Ive been here a few times and it's always a good experience.It was a little cold in the restaurant but the overall experience was above average.

This was phenomenal. Tofu steak and I don't even know what my fiance had because mine was too enticing.Great speciality cocktails.Would certainly recommend.
If I could give a 0 star I would. The manager has a habit of not communicating with his employees. Will FIRE people because they're in quarantine, and has no basic regard for people's lives. Actually garbage, and I will be making sure to not do business here. I recommend everyone to not work, or eat here.In response too the businesses response, the only reason you found out after a scheduled shift was because you wouldn't respond to the multiple inquiries on the issues at hand. Seems like irresponsibility to be honest.
