Just walked out of the worst experience. We ordered 2 salads and an appetizer. After 40 minutes we still only had 2 drinks and those took 15 minutes to receive. Never ever got the appetizer. In all that time the waitress only came back once and two managers passed by our table yet no one even spoke to us. I understand how hard it is to get good help but nobody at the Bay City Applebee's even cares if they stay in business. How sad!
Great food and great experience. The slightest bit of annoyance that no one called our name though. I eventually saw a text message otherwise we probably never would have gotten a table. They claimed that they called my name but two of us were listening. Oh well. The great food and attentive waitress and manager made up for the unnecessary wait. We'll happily come back another time. Thank you!
This Applebee's had an online ordering app. I had a hard time with it. The QR code reader didn't pop it up immediately. And then it took forever to load the menu. I know covid has changed things but for me I prefer a tangible menu. The waitress was unwilling to explain anything when I had questions. On this visit we all ordered the new bowls they offered on special. We were overcharged. Then when mentioning it to the wait staff she got unnecessarily rude. I was not impressed. I won't return to this location again. I am fine with going to another place.
William aka Billy was an outstanding server and we were very impressed with the service and professionalism how they handled things but the minor inconvenience that the assistant manager personally brought our food out and was helping deliver food to the floor as they were jam-packed best visit ever I'll drive from Saginaw to Bay City every time for that service and delicious food ✅?Thanks for making our dinner out that I took 2 of my 5 daughters to, a really great experience
I just had coffee & dessert. But waitress was super friendly & had a big smile on her face.The dessert of mini doughnuts and dipping sauce, hit the spot. The doughnuts are slightly crunchy outside & soft inside
Staff was very kind. The door greeter was the sweetest ever. Food was brought quickly and our waitress was awesome.
The food was delicious and our server (Sylvia?) was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly!!!Only complaint is that we could here other servers (not ours) complaining during our meal and using foul language from across the restaurant...
My meal was brought to me and the waitress told me the chef apologized for the sloppiness of the plate. The plate was disgusting. The chef didn't even wipe the plate down, the meal was lukewarm, and the chicken was burnt and over cooked. I told the waitress to send it back because l couldn't eat it. She apologized. I got a new hot meal. The manager dropped it off with no apology. Usually you would offer a discount or something. Very disappointed.
The steak was the best I've ever had! Came with shrimp on top ? Red mashed potatoes and broccoli on side was really good also. Was in Bay City Michigan
I had a great experience here, ordered lunch with my fiancee and got quick, accurate and friendly service. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly, would eat here again without a doubt
