Noise level varies based on the planes starting, taking off and arriving. Much of the time there is little noise at all but when a biplane starts up next to the balcony it can be extremely loud. This could be a negative for some but for most visitors it is the ambiance that makes the place special. Food is excellent.

We were very pleased with our first trip to Waco. The ambiance was perfect, atmosphere very comfortable and the food delicious. I Truly feel that Waco is a much needed culinary experience in its chosen location. There is nothing like it nearby and it gives other restaurants a new level of culinary skill and consumer appeal to achieve.
Here for the first time with family members. Read reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I had the Full Throttle Salmon plate. One of the best I've ever had. Server was very attentive to our needs and answered all questions about their meals presented to her. We were seated outdoors. Of course, aircraft noise was an issue but to be expected, since the restaurant is literally yards away from runway 23 and taxiing aircraft. Overall, I'd rate them 6 stars if I could. I'll be back.

What a delight! Who ever would have thought that the best burger in town could be found at an airplane factory? The server was friendly and he started us off with waters and an amazing bread with olive oil for dipping. We ordered our food and it was so freaking good! The soup of the day was Chicken and Rice and it was on point. My burger couldn't have been any better. instead of ketchup, it had some sort of homemade tomato jam that took it out of this world. Sitting out on the balcony was also cool because my daughter loves to watch the planes and freight trains. Well done, WACO.Update: Went today to WACO for lunch. Made reservations and was seated quickly. As usual, the staff was friendly and attentive and the meal was good.
The only negative thing I can say is I wish I would’ve eaten here sooner. The host(I’m sorry I forgot her name) was amazing she was super friendly and answered every question I had. Our waiter was also awesome. We got to sit outside and witness a few planes take off and land. I felt so relaxed, and I was never rushed. The food was very fresh and tasted perfect . I will definitely be back again. Keep up the great work. I’m proud to see such an awesome place in Battle Creek.
