These are the most inconsiderate business owners I have ever met. First we were not told they do not accept any form of payment other than cash when we called to order, so we drove out of our way to arrive to find out we couldn’t pay. We drove half a mile and got cash and came back (p.s. $40 for 2 14” plain pizzas is a joke) and by the time we got there, my six year old daughter needed the restroom. This place has a dining area with tables and public looking restrooms. I asked if she could use the restroom and they said yes. We tried and the doors were locked. Came back up to the counter and told them it was locked and they just said, “THE RESTROOMS ARE CLOSED.” To my child who was now crying because she couldn’t hold it. It’s unfortunate, I like to support local businesses, but I won’t give such mean people my business.
Volcano has been a staple for the entire family for years! If thin-crust is not your favorite, this may not be your favorite. For the quality and taste, there's nothing close to it- but, you will pay considerably more than "chain" pizza stores. Be sure to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards. Perfect dough with a light floury taste, perfect tasting sauce, and real cheesy goodness. Probably the only pizza that tastes as good re-heated in the oven as it did coming out of their oven!
Hands down the best pizza in the area. Hardly ever open and super inconvenient hours but if you can catch it open, it's the best!
The BEST pizza in Southwestern Michigan!
Skimpiest Pizza in town for the most expensive price and it isn't even good. I can't believe this place actually has good reviews I bought two pizzas from there for $40 . They were so skimpy a small gust of windalmost blew them out of my hands. You wanta real Pizza go visit Steve's Pizza .
Came here on Friday to pick up a supreme pizza. I like how they have the whiteboard that shows that your order is ready. The pizza was good, but it seemed kind of expensive to me ($23 for a 14 inch). Also, the customer in front of me sounded like he got the wrong pizza, and whoever the guy was trying to help him seemed kind of rude and impatient. However, while this was happening one of the workers came out and still got my order for me. So I'll split the difference and give this three stars.
This place gets many great reviews and I don't know why . The pizza is expensive and very thin and skimpy with almost no taste
Would rather eat a frozen pizza.
Been going there for 53 years. My favorite pizza. They're only open a few months out of the year. I wish they were open all year.
Never open when convenient. Was once 5 star. Might as well close for good and sell the property.
