Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. I placed my order ahead of time and still had to wait about 10 minutes for my order after arrival. I was a bit confused when I walked in because most locations have a shelf for to go orders, which they do not. Instead they keep the online orders refrigerated behind the counter. I think that's actually pretty cool.
The drive thru is painfully slow so we went inside to order. Not only was the trash overflowing and trash all over the floor, one of the workers was more concerned about playing with her friends who were there instead of actually working and let the other two workers do everything. I understand it's summer, but being clean is imperative. Not sure how this place passes health inspections.
Very expensive. Smoothies have muted flavor. If you get a wrap and a smoothie expect to pay $16-$17 a person.
You could drive to the Tropical Smoothie in Kalamazoo, order your food there, drive home, eat said food, mow your lawn, file your taxes, and still have time remaining before you got out of the drive through at this one.. And you can guarantee they’re still going to ask for a tip after making you wait all that time lol.
They made my smoothie pretty quick but didn't put the pea protein or whey protein in that I paid for. I didn't realize untill I got home.
Great place for healthy food. That would have gotten them a 5 star review. But when we walked in the door, the 3 people working behind the counter did not acknowledge us in any way- no eye contact, no greeting...just kept on working. We finally sat in chairs up at the counter where one girl kept on working across from us. Still nothing, like "I'll be right with you" or even "Hi". Finally my husband said we knew what we wanted, who did we order from? After that they were nice, but it was very awkward just standing there being ignored by people close enough to touch. I understand being busy. Most places are. Just acknowledge and say anything!
I ordered a Hurricane black cherry smoothie on two different days; the first day it was fine but when I went back the following week, I definitely didn’t get the right order or something. The second one was bright purple and extremely bland. I asked for a replacement and they said my only option is/was to buy another one. I don’t know what was in that 2nd smoothie but it was awful and so was the customer service when I asked for a replacement.
I used a coupon for a free smoothie with a purchase of a sandwich. I figured they used it, I didn’t get a receipt, then when I got home I realized they never applied it and charged me full price. I called and nobody ever answered, so I left a voicemail asking if maybe I could just get my coupon back since they didn’t use it. Nobody will call back. Oh well
Shout out to the Battle Creek location because the staff is so friendly there! There are a couple girls I see in the mornings at the drive thru that make the experience worth going. Don’t know names but one particular gal has brown hair with great customer service skills. They know how make a to die for Pomegranate Plunge and my favorite Turkey Bacon Ranch. Very clean as well. Thank you for quenching my smoothie addiction!
