We stopped for treats around 3pm on a weekday. The ice cream was delicious and they have some very tasty donuts as well. The staff were very pleasant. There is plenty of seating outdoors underneath a tent for shade. We took photos with the giant ice cream cone for a silly family photo op. We would stop here again to stretch our legs and get some tasty treats next time we are in the area!

Stopped here for ice cream while we were in the area. Ice cream is not made on site but is a local brand (Ashby’s). Can also get pies a la mode. Pies available will depend on season. Check website for details. A nice touch was an offer to warm up the pie before putting the ice cream on top. Large grassy area for kids to play in next to the restaurant. While we were there, they had a tent set up, so you could eat outside and lots of cornhole games available to play. They also have a giant fiberglass ice cream cone that you can take a picture in front of. Besides dessert, they do serve up diner style meals and sell fresh fruit while in season. Place seems out in the country but is really only about a five minute drive south on M-66 from the junction of M-66 and I-94.

We met our adult kids here for food and a visit. We had our dog with us and there's a large grassy area with games for kids and trees for shade. We grabbed a picnic table at the far end of the area, under the shade of a tree, and our dog enjoyed the time as much as we did. Food was good (basic, but good), and the ice cream was great. But the freedom to be outdoors with our kids and our pet was the best!

Lunch on our Day Away to Battle Creek! Station 66 is a charming little place (seating indoors for 25 or so, plus outdoor covered picnic patio). We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch of pork sliders w/BBQ sauce, a slaw dog, lightly salted french fries, and a bowl of homemade corn chowder. So delicious!! And there are many choices on the menu for our next visit! Love the vintage homey decor too! And the Michigan-made food items that you can purchase (can't wait to try the raspberry jam we bought). There's an ice cream and donut counter as well. Easy access off I-94 south on M66 for a couple miles. We'll be back!!

best burger in town and that says a lot because BC does not have a great burger joint . we ordered Two, the 7 oz cheese burger and the Roadster Olive burger. it was worth the wait as this place is always so busy, we ate outside had a picnic it was the perfect date !

I hadn't stopped at Station 66 in 4-5 years. I was excited to stop and check the place out again. I really wanted some cider and donuts. I ended up having lunch too. I had a couple Chicago style hot dogs and fries with a root beer. It was good. The donuts and cider were to take home. I recommend getting a warm apple donut to have right there as they are the best! I didn't check out the pumpkins and other fall decorations outside since I was not in the market, but there was a lot to choose from. There are also assorted food items inside you can purchase, like apple butter, different types of sodas, snack food, ice cream, the mention donuts, and a fairly extensive menu for a smaller place like this. I love this place and will stop in any time I'm in the area, which isn't as often as I'd like.

What a find! My kids loved seeing the old-fashioned Coke cooler and working juke box! Those things were almost as good as the ice cream and food. I had skipped lunch, so I had an egg salad sandwich. Delicious! I asked them not to toast the bun, but they did anyway. That’s because they knew better. The toasted bread made it perfect. I had a delicious cherry fry pie that tasted like a homemade Hostess pie. We also bought local corn, tomatoes, and peaches. There are plenty of tables outside and a huge field for the kids to run in. Perfect stop during this time of Covid.

Best Reuben sandwich in the city! I will certainly go again next Summer. Friendly staff and great food.

My daughter and I stopped in the way back to BC from the Reservation. The ice cream seemed a little expensive, but it was well worth the stop. The staff was friendly, helpful and treated my very indecisive teenager with patience. That the product is tasty was a bonus. I will be back.

Great evening with the grandkids. They liked the ice cream and also the grounds where they could run to their hearts delight.
