Not super impressed. Sat in a booth and noticed right away that window sill was super dirty. This was also where the ketchup bottle was sitting. Food was ok for an average local bar. Our wings were still cold on the inside. Burger had good flavor. Meatloaf special was a little under cooked. Texture was weird. Loved the hot pepper cheese balls. Service was good and prices reasonable. We would try it again. I think they can do better.
I made reservations for ten people two days ahead of our group meeting for dinner. When we arrived I asked the waitress where our table was but she didn't know and said she would check. Finally she returned and said "just pick a spot and push some tables together". Okay so just do it yourself.It turned out that only 7 people could make it last night. Everyone arrived and we ordered. I ordered the nachos and my husband got the walleye what he always gets We had just been there the week before and he really loved the fish and the serving size of the fish When he got his plate the fish was about 1/2 the amount that he had always gotten. He told the waitress he wasn't happy that there wasn't much fish on his plate and his french fries was under cooked. She said she would talk to the cook but then came back and said she was looking for a manager. I asked her to send the manager to us and she said she would. The manager came over and said 2 pieces is what they always served but because they was a little smaller they include an extra piece. The extra piece was less than 3 inches long and maybe an inch wide. She also stated that she wouldn't do anything about the order but they did say they would replace the fries. Unfortunately the new fries was just as under cooked.My Nachos wasn't very good either without real cheese just canned cheese sauce and a bunch of grease from the beef. I couldn't eat the bottom layer of chips because they had so much grease on them Yuk!We all felt the manager was very rude and cared nothing about customer service. I tipped the waitress because none of this was her fault but also wrote on my receipt that we would not be coming back.
So... I was in love with this place. I took my issue of being overcharged multiple times to the owners wife today. SHE DID NOT CARE. (I assumed because I am a regular that that would have an impact.)She made excuses for the guys overcharging multiple bills of mine and adding drinks that I never ordered. Her husband is a gem and the bar tenders are usually sweet but my advice is keep an eye on the bill. A bigger bill usually means a bigger tip and maybe someone's hoping they dont catch the extra drinks on the bill. This was the third and final time for me. I wish that lady was as kind as her husband but clearly customer service was not a priority today.Reply to their reply: I said I believe my husband paid cash and I did not know if there was a receipt. Also, lesson learned... I will just pay cash each drink so that it doesn't get doubled on my tab ?♀️. Also, it's not a bash. That was honest how you reacted. I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell you. Your husband is so sweet and I thought you were going to be too but maybe I just came in at the wrong time. I thought I could bring this issue to you since I was a regular.Per husband: He said they took his cash and the bill when he paid the bill.
Miller's time out has the most incredible food in Battle Creek Michigan.. With everything included, But the kitchen sink. Our meals are cooked to perfection every time. Our food has never showed up late but rather early which is even more satisfying!! I will continue to show support by purchasing their food and boasting about this place because it has always been an amazing experience!!
As advertised. We were traveling from ohio up to Grand Rapids and didn’t want to have dinner at some chain. This place via the mark perfectly. Friendly service and solid food. Thanks!
Not usually in the area but came across Millers by accident. So glad we did!! If you want a froo froo spot or menu items you can’t pronounce then this is not the place for you! But if you like real food, and a wide variety of real food, check it out! Lots of options and the prices are reasonable for sure! Steak and shrimp was fantastic and the deep fried pickles looked like a whole jar and were so yummy! I even had dessert, hot fudge brownie with ice cream and that was phenomenal! Unsure of the rest of the staff but our server was friendly, efficient, and really did a great job! Definitely would recommend and we do plan to go back! They close at 11pm Sunday-Thursday and are open until midnight Friday and Saturday!
Was meeting a friend and looking for a place that was between us. It is really convenient to get to, on and off 94. Had the 1/3 pound Fire Burger with pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and fire sauce. It had the right amount of heat. Not overpowering, so if you are looking for super hot burn your mouth that is not it. I did enjoy it though. This is a good place to stop if I was passing thru
No fried food. Beef & Noodles was kind of bland. French dip was ok. Had a difficult time getting the waitress's attention to bring me a to-go box and the bill. Had to go up and walk to the bar then wait for her to get done talking to one of the other customers and ask her for the bill and a box. We'll try it again though
High quality bar food. We used to live and Kalamazoo and frequented Main Street Pub often. There isnt one in Battle Creek and so we have started going here. Staff is always friendly and patient with our five year old son. Restaurant seems clean and usually one of the owners is there. You can tell they really care about the place. Great family owned restaurant.
A white lady with long black hair and black glasses who was a staff came up to a friend group and slammed on the table acting like an absolute maniac because she thought she was sleeping. They threatened to kick her out and threatened legal action.Very musty environment do not recommend. This must be a drug user hangout spot if they were so concerned about something like this and you do NOT want to hang out at a place like that.Will never be returning. stay far awayEdit to the reply:this just further proves my point. please stay away from here and save your money there are much better places to go that treat ppl w respect. and i wasn’t w the party i was watching from the side so get it straight. she was clearly not sleeping and the employee was out of line. I also found out after talking to people that if you ask around they do not have a good reputation with the young population.
