Authentic food and atmosphere. Excellent food with lots of choices, Appetizer chips with hot white cheese sauce is a must have. The prompt and friendly service is just right - there when you want something and give privacy when you don't. Bright and colorful Mexican decorating throughout, including the tabletops. Cheerful music. Price is very reasonable for quality meals that aren't too fancy. Nice place to bring the family.
Plentiful food, great taste and fair prices. Staff very friendly. Definitely making this a go to. Lots of choices, shrimp is awesome.
The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Today we tried the flan. It was so yummy delicious.
Went here last night first time. I had a combo platter and had to large pieces of cardboard in it!! Never will I return, staff didn't even seem to care. Like it wasn't something new! WOW!!!
Given the choice of Mexican spots in BC, La Cocina is a good option.That said, it falls short in almost every category -* Uncomfortably cold (during the winter)* Poor selection of craft beer* Sub optimal seating layout. I feel especially sorry for folks stuck sitting in the aisle way.* Order didn't get taken accurately
Food was good service was good. Only ding was some type of cleaner or air freshener they had was almost overpowering. You get hit with it as soon as you walk in. But the food definitely made up for it.
Terrible service and very rude staff. I found a cockroach in my food the other day and they still tried making me pay for the food. I will never be back to this dirty establishment.
Food was great, service was great. Pleasant atmosphere we were able to hold a conversation and not have to shout or worry about infringing on any one else's privacy.
