Service I received there was excellent. Everybody was smiling and very helpful. The food on the other hand for the price and the time to get the food was not. I ordered a burger not knowing that I had to say with cheese in order to get cheese and it was burnt. Unfortunately, for my third visit ever to Culver's I'm pretty sure this will make me not want to go back. I hope not everyone's experiences like this but mine was and my previous experiences have never been the best either.
Good food, always hot and fresh. However if you want a malted don't expect to get a malted. The last dozen times we've been here and asked for double malt we only got a shake. Very disappointing when you are all set for a malt and you have a shake. We pay extra for the double shot of malt but we only get a shake. We have in the past gotten very good malts at this culver's, but it's been a long time. The next time this happens I'm going to go back to the drive thru and let them know the person preparing shakes and malts has not prepared my malted correctly.
We have been using the Culver's drive-through, in Battle Creek for the entire Covid period. Many times our order will be missing items that were ordered at the window. Culver's will indicate on each ticket all the items to give the customer. Since it's a drive thru, you aren't able to search through the bags to ensure everything is there, you trust them.But when home, you realize you were shorted items. Yesterday, 5/25, I decided to go into the opened lobby to make my order and explain, with my latest receipt, exactly what items were missing. Fred, the Manager told me there was nothing he can do. He told me to call the store the next time it happens. I left the store without ordering our customary dinners and Culver's lost another $28.30 because Fred was unable to address minimal items missed on our last order, (ketchup, cheese sauce, cocktail sauce, onion rings, blue cheese dressing and a salad). After thinking about the poor service I received from Fred, I decided to tell others of the poor service, which is why I waste my time writing this honest Review along with writing a few letters of dissatisfaction. It would have cost Fred nothing to replace those items missed and his failure resulted in a cloud over that Culver's and a bad example set for his surrounding employees who were witnesses. Very dissappointed in the bad service. The new Chick-fil-A that just opened down the road is probably stealing your best customer servers. This didn't need to happen.
We have eaten fish two days in a row, but Culver’s has that super cod sandwich, so now I have had fish 3 days in a row. My husband had his favourite pork loin cutlet - also good. Unfortunately despite the friendly and really pleasant staff, they didn’t have blackberry cobbler as the flavour of the day - heartbreaking! Excellent! And equally as good as the double the price fish we had last night.
Good burgers, excellent seasonal walleye dinner, always have had good food and very friendly service. Great ice cream, the concrete mixers can be addicting!
Always excellent service and never had a bad meal. Consistent and delicious. I recommend the cod dinner, chicken strips are great, and love getting broccoli and cheese. Best root beer in town!!
After 11 hours in the car with 2 kids under the age of 4 who had clearly reached their limit, Fred, the manager of this Culver's went above and beyond with two surprise ice creams for the kids to ease the long day they had. Fred showed incredible empathy and care and made the last leg of our trip all the better. We have always enjoyed Culver's and Fred has only cemented that fact.
As i am not from this area, i visit this establishment frequently when i am in Michigan I come here and order the butterburger with my lovely fiancee. She usually demands the cheese curds (with ranch). Every time these compassionate workers cherishly exchange my food for some money i am well pleased. You know what they say.... "happy wife, happy life!"
They are consistently good. My only complaint is my large strawberry concrete mixer seems to ALWAYS have half plain vanilla. It doesn’t get blended through enough. This time was the worst with well over half just plain vanilla. The employees are friendly and the food is pretty good.
We finally got to Culver's when there was no line.We were excited, however the excitement didn't last long. My poor husband ended up with food poisoning after eating there.
