The seafood was great! They have 2 different all you can eat options. AYCE Jumbo shrimp $18.99 or AYCE Catfish, Polluck, and popcorn shrimp $15.99.
Ordered a combo dinner which came with fried scallops, frog legs, and lake perch. I'm a big fan of lake perch and it was good. The scallops were very good, although they were on the smaller side. Also enjoyed the frog legs. The server brought out hush puppies to share and they were delicious. It all tasted good, but the downside is that it is a lot of fried food.
Never had a bad meal or experience here. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Just saw the manager there from a few months back fire a child predator (he is a RSO) on a YouTube video. Kudos to her for keeping her restaurant and the community safe???
Our server was amazing. We had a group of 16 and she didn’t miss a beat.
So,,,,,,, I started off by reading the bad reviews,,,,I did NOT experience anything like they described3/20/22 fish is super light battered,,,NOT greasy...I can only say with a world of substandard restaurants this is not one of themIt's worth the stopAnd I think of the people that were complaining it's during freaking covid ......cut them some freaking SlackYou guys freaking Rock!Everybody else is just quite average

I'm pretty sure a diet solely consisting of fried shrimp with hush puppies and honey butter isn't recommended by any doctor and yet Captain Luey's makes the idea more than just a little enticing. They also have amazingly friendly staff.
The gentleman who took my order was working very hard to take care of me and the customers in front of me quickly and was very courteous. Food was very good and fair prices.
