I work in Battle Creek, Michigan but live in Ohio. I frequently eat at the Battle Creek Applebees. The manager Crystal is simply amazing, very friendly, she actually talks with you, not just through you. She listens to your concerns, she genuinely seems to care about you as a person. The waitress Kristi is the perfect employee. She makes you feel at home, she makes you feel like you matter. She interacts with you, she makes you want to come back for more. Both of these people should be acknowledged for their impeccable custom service and general overall caring attitude.
the staff here are great and are able to provide quality and timely service. The cooks work fast and well- and the servers are always on it when tending to their customers needs; let alone the host stand always has someone paying attention 10/10 ❗️
Called in order at 9:47 told it would be ready at 10:18. Sat in curbside from 10:15 until 11pm. No food. So now an hour has passed and nothing. Had people come out and ask for our order we told them. Called twice and still no food. But 3 cars came and gone who arrived at 10:30 (after us). Called and spoke with manager who just made up excuse after excuse and said well you can just come back and get your food. We left with no dinner. And this is why we drive to marshall from battle creek.
This restaurant is both affordable and delicious. We always receive top of the line service, whoever waits on us is attentive and nice. We never have to wait a long time for our food. The restaurant has booths, tables and high top tables. There is a side section by the windows which give you nice seating to sit in the sun.
We had a huge group dining in on a Friday night. The servers and manager coordinated the group and had our orders in and delivered within 30 mins. I was impressed because ever since Covid happened i have not gone out into public for dining much because the service was quite poor at some establishments. ... but the service here was GREAT!
Service was excellent! We had a large party. We got seated quickly and multiple servers assisted in taking our orders and delivering our food. Server Ashlyn and the manager Crystal kept drinks coming and made sure we were satisfied with our food!
Worst service ever. A cook, Anthony, ended up being our server. It took 20 minutes to get 2 chocolate milks and a tea and even longer for the drink from the bar. I watched as it sat up there and melted. Twice. I asked for appetizer plates for our 4 person party and she only brought 2. I don't think we'll go back. But Anthony was awesome so if a manager reads this please give him a gold star!
Everyone knows Applebee's. All I can really say is the steaks are cooked how you want them. Which is the best you can ask for. Curbside people are awesome. And the price is just standard Applebee's prices
The friendly atmosphere was nothing short of relaxing the latest time I was here. Jamilah did an amazing job serving us. She went out of her way to make our experience as perfect as she could! I will be back to see her and get her dessert recommendations!
If I could give zero stars I would. The last few times the service has been absolutely horrible. One night the hostess didn't put a name on the wait list, the manger shrugged his shoulders and told us another hour wait. Sat at the bar and waited 30 min for drinks. Tonight there were maybe 5 tables with people at them and we were advised over an hour wait. Get it together BC Applebee's y"all gonna end up closed for good.
