Always good food. But the fact that u got to ring up ur own food. I'm not a fan of. I had 5 kids n 3 adults. Lol. Took me forever trying to find it all. Lol.
They were busy when we visited, but the staff did a great job at getting our food out quickly. Food was good and much cheaper than most other places.
Now that the inside is open, service has seemed to be improved greatly. More employees, self service and ordering, very simplified to a McDonald's dining room level. Honestly blew me away considering this specific stores reputation of being incredibly poor service. Seems to be an incredible improvement. I hope all Steak N Shakes operate this way now.
If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Ordered through doordash and when we received our order our burgers were smashed, the quality of the food was just mind blowing. Im a manager in food and I would be so embarrassed if our food looked like the food I received today. I paid $70 to get food poisoning!! I would save your money and don’t order here.
My husband and I made a special 20 mile trip to Steak and Shake. They had take out only but the food was still as good as it usually is. We also received awesome and fast service. We will go there again soon.
Warning!!! There is a sign on the door that says "online order only". I went to the "place order" link from Google maps and was charged a ~$6.00 fee for a takeout order I placed IN the establishment. Do not place an order from here. Postmates is a money grab!!The food and service were fantastic! However, I was surprised that the cheese fries was actually fries with a cup of cheese on the side.
Great service. Came for a milkshake. Best in the house. If you are ever in Michigan skip Dairy queen & tropical cafe and come here to get your milkshake! Delicious.
The burger & fries were delicious! They were only doing internet orders but the sign was so small on the door you had to get out the car. This was a problem because the weather was so bad. But once we received our order the food was good ?
Their milkshakes were so much smaller now that they’ve limited their services to online orders only, but the food is still just as yummy and still has the same great prices. Be careful when you pull up because the drive-through is closed as well as the restaurant dining so you only have the option to order online- which is also easy!
Meh... This was my first time eating here and sadly probably my last too.Well to start the drive thru was closed probably do to pandemic. Signes posted stated to order online and pick up at the window or inside. The wait time wasn't bad.The western burger and strawberry shake were decent. However, the fries were a disappoinment. Considering the restuarant is called STEAK n shake some STEAK fries would have been great. Unfortunately what I got was more like shoe string fries. It was nothing about this place that would make me choose this food over another restuarant.
