I went in on 06/30/2022 to get a quick meal before going to my other job. Little did I know it would be anything but quick. I waited at the bar for twenty-five minutes before finally getting service. During my wait, the bartender made eye contact with me several times but instead of acknowledging me, she walked by doing what she was doing. There were only two bartenders to make drinks for the other servers and take care of their own bar guests at what was peak dinner hours so I understood why it might have taken a little longer to get to me(although the place was still not full) My issue isn't that.The name of the server on my receipt was “Sam” Idk if that was the person I'm talking about but she was brown-haired with glasses and leather pants. Sam, I don't know how long you have been a server but I just want to give you a little advice as someone who had been a server/ bartender for 7 years and managed for 3 years before covid. When you make eye contact with a new guest that you can not get to right away the best thing you can do is simply say “Hello, we will be with you in a moment.” Those nine little words or any variation of them will give you 5-10 minutes more of the customer's patience and make them feel like they are being taken care of. Even if nothing has actually been done for them.Pretending they don't exist until you can get to them is one of the worst responses to a waiting customer. Even if that guest can clearly see you are busy customers, as you probably know, do not always care about how busy you are. You letting them know that you have taken note of them helps the situation immensely. They are no longer sitting there, anxiously wondering if they will ever get served or if they should just leave.I still give the place itself 3 stars because the manager eventually came out to help the bartenders and did take my order when they couldn't get to me. Plus the food itself wasn't bad. I had the beef sliders and artichoke dip and it was one of the more decent artichoke dips I've eaten. I also loved the sweetness of the onions on my sliders. It came out warm within an acceptable amount of time as well.
Hostess so was nice, and accommodating. We came in just before 5 on a Saturday. Less then 20% tables full. Zero tables taken outside. We asked to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The hostess went around to ask any server willing to take our table. We were lucky and got a great server Sydney. great beer selection. I ordered the most fantastic, mouth pleasing, taste bud satisfying, meatloaf grilled cheese. ABSOLUTELY perfect concoction of soul food ever. I will return from 2 hours away to get this type of service and food. Highly recommend.
Used to love coming here but the place has been going down hill since covid.We walked past several dirty tables on our way to the host stand. The hostess didn't greet us, just gave us a blank stare and waited for us to say something before walking us past more dirty tables to a (sticky) table in the corner. We weren't seen for 10 minutes. Our server was very short with us once we placed our order (no drinks). We then waited 20 minutes for our food, and then 10 more minutes until our server brought us silverware (after watching me grab bar napkins to use) and the drink refill he said he was going to grab. My burger was the only positive experience of night.I understand restaurants everywhere are experiencing staffing issues but we visited this location at 8pm on a Tuesday night. There were maybe 8-10 other groups of people in the restaurant between the floor and the bar with two servers and a bartender to take care of them. Sadly won't be coming back here again after enjoying this location for several years.
Yesterday had lunch there. Place was pretty empty but they seated us way in the back where 2 tall doors were propped open allowing a cold breeze to come in making it uncomfortable. I asked a man if the doors could be closed & was told no due to an outside entrance. I then asked if the heat could be turned up. He said no it would make other customers uncomfortable and he just walked away. Wow. No offer of moving us away from the doors to one of the many other empty tables. He really was quite rude about it.I flagged down our waitress & she got us moved.Food and drinks were good!
Was greeted by a not so friendly hostess. Was sat at a table and waited 15 minutes before we were approached by the server. The server was wearing a see threw mini shirt with her gut hanging out. Not body shaming but im not at a strip club. Ordered two drinks. My mothers came. Then i waited another 15min for my drink. The food took forever. Ordered food to go. That also took forever. Mind you. There is only about 5 tables in here now. Get home. To find that my cary out food was put into tuppaware from meijer. Im so grossed out by my entire experience and will not be going back.
Horrible experience there last night. I ordered a burger with the Chicken breast as a substitute for the meat and was brought a burger that had a chicken breast with the meat on top of it. Our waitress was very slow. Would not return there.
Food as always was beyond amazing. But the staff is what earns these stars today. Matt and Sydney worked extra hard to make sure we were well taken care of tonight even with them being understaffed. It was amazing to see everyone help each other to make sure customers were satisfied. I dont know where you got such good employees but i was beyond grateful to see them in action tonight
We sat at the bar and service was so slow. I would not waste my time again. Over an hour for our food to come. It’s lukewarm. I’m mad that we sat here all this time.

Terrible terrible service. Rude waitresses, and hostess. I had a BUG in my drink!!! Could not believe it. And I noticed it right when it was set on the table. The fact that they could have seen it but still brought it to me…. Could not believe it!!! They we’re out of every single thing we ordered. EVERYTHING. I’ve never been to a restaurant that was “out” of so much. The food was great, but wishing service was better so I’d want to go back to this location but absolutely not to this location. Like other reviewers said it was empty but still an hour wait, waitresses sitting around talking not working. They’re rude, not polite and didn’t even apologize for the bug. Like it was normal…. Also took forever to bring out second round of drinks.
