This is my all time favorite Japanese restaurant! When I went to EMU, my friends and I would eat here at least 1x per week. I have never found another restaurant where the sushi is this amazing and tasty! I have moved away since my college years, but I always end up coming back at least once a month. Definitely try the Alaska roll, amazing roll, and udon!

What can I say about this place to do it justice... Wow great food, a very pleasant staff and good atmosphere! Every staff member greeted us on our way to our table... never had that happen before... it was a very welcoming feeling. We had the vegetable and shrimp tempura to start (it was on everyones table)... simply delicious! We moved on to sushi ? and it was all good; spicy tuna crunch roll, califonia crunch roll and a avacado bomb which was amazing ?. We couldn't finish everything and that never happens. We wanted to keeping enjoying every flavor but couldn't stuff ourselves any further. One of my new favorites... love it and will return.

My low review is not based on the service at all - very friendly staff and I appreciated that. I ordered the Chirashi (sashimi on rice bowl). Chirashi should be a gold standard entree of any sushi restaurant behind an omakase sushi/sashimi plate. I have come to accept what the standard of raw fish is in Ann Arbor, but I have to say that what was the most disappointing about my meal is that for the high price, I received only 5 slices of fish that were certainly not sliced to be bite sized. The rest of the bed of rice was covered in other toppings and lemon slices. That’s pretty unacceptable in my opinion for the price that’s being charged. Additionally, it’s pretty easy to know when a tuna has been defrosted rather than being fresh - I was disappointed to see and taste this in my chirashi.I think this is a good restaurant in terms of the service and ambiance, and perhaps the non-raw fish dishes are good, but this was a disappointing visit for the cost.

Creative and delicious rolls await you here!Picked this place out on a whim and was happy to find out they had their own parking lot for quick and easy entrance. The atmosphere is very inviting and the ginger salad is generously proportioned and flavorful. We also tried a couple rolls and they ended up being quite tasty.Being both a picky eater and vegetarian, it was nice to see a separate section of all vegetarian appetizers. Would be nice though if they added a few vegetarian soba options, but luckily quite a few unique sushi rolls to choose from!

Great experience. The online ordering on the website is a little unusual but the sushi rolls were amazing. Rolls were separated and labeled which made it easy. This is probably my favorite sushi restaurant in Ann Arbor. We will be going back!

When it says "spicy", they definitely mean you'll regret your next bathroom visit!!! Really good ramen, albeit too spicy for my tastes but it was great nonetheless, I took home the leftovers and watered it down and I could fright appreciate just how good the noodles truly were! Although I wish I could say the same about the sushi? They were cold and yet oddly very very warm.

Absolutely favorite place this side of town. Never had a bad meal!

Great sushi but dinner portions are not very big. Overall great food. Haven't ate a sushi roll that I didn't like. Pricey but good!!! Will def be back.

We had lunch there and it was good.we had special sushi but they also have noodles, bento and other foods. Miso soup was ok, sushi pizza was “interesting “ and I really likes Tiger roll and spicy shrimp roll. I have to say everything was spicy though! They all have spicy mayo, and I had to drink lots of water afterwards. I probably wouldn’t order pizza anymore

One of my favorite spots in the area. The staff is super friendly and answers all our questions. Try the ginger salad. Such a great starter. But the sushi is amazing. So very fresh. Never have I ever been disappointed. Stop in and enjoy!!!
