I was here for an early lunch on a Sunday. Went inside and took a sampling of 6 assorted sliders. With a varied order trying out new places things can be slow. These guys nailed it accurately and QUICK! It was a perfect visit for my first time. I have been wanting to try White Castle for years ever since Harold and Kumar came out. It did not let me down, and the service was fantastic.
I arrived at the drive thru at 11:13am. Waited approximately 25-30 minutes to get to the speaker (when i arrived there was one car at the speaker, and 1 car behind them, then me). Once i got to the speaker, i was told they would be with me in a moment. 7-10 minutes later, my order was taken. When i drove up to the window to pay, i was the only car there. Took another 5 minutes to wait for an employee to come up and take my payment, and another 5 minutes for them to hand the food over. Did not expect to spend almost an hour in the drive thru.Looking at the reviews, seems like this has been an issue for a while and has not made any improvements. White Castle is a childhood memory for me and I don't get it often, and having to wait an hour for food is ridiculous for a "fast food service". I've worked in the industry for years, longest wait should be no more than 5-10 minutes. 15 tops when busy (which it wasn't).
White Castle is White Castle. I'm not a very big fan of there food. But the new burger they have. They use real meat. It tasted very good.
It took 15 minutes to get the food and then it's cold. How hard is it to flip a burger once. Please train your people on quality and speed. Will never eat there again
We waited around 15 minutes to get to the window to get our food, and then it took an astonishing 35 - 40 minutes to get our food. I think someone actually honked at us.They did say sorry, but I mean they couldn't tell us why it was taking so long, the apology was pretty half done. Didn't offer anything for that time, not that I need free stuff, but they just didn't seem great at customer service.My food, which I guess took the longest, was not good. Just felt dry and flavorless.
If you need a slider fix then this is the place for you. Service at this location can be slow but they appear to be understaffed just like so many other places. Other than that, the food was hot, fresh, and visually appealing. I rather like the 1921 sliders.
The cheeseburger sliders were perfect and brought back childhood memories. I ended up getting a crave case and onion chips, while my daughter got the chicken slider and mozzerella sticks. Everything was delicious!
My first White Castle experience. Terrible food. Why does it take 4 employees 30 minutes? There were only 4 cars in line. The rest of them left. I've gotten better food and faster service from a crew of 2 at McDonald's.
A good burger is necessary. It’s always a treat to eat at White Castle.
The management really cares about their customers and go the extra mile. This location is not currently 24 hours (the White Castle app indicates that it is 24 hours), however they are trying to return to 24 hours. My only issue is that for a fast food drive-thru, it is very slow. It regularly takes 15+mins to go from placing your order to receiving it.
