DELICIOUS BUT UNSETTLING. Food is often good, but service is hit or miss apparently. Yesterday, April 9, 2022, the service was a jarring and borderline-hostile psychological thriller that we tried to make the best of. I've actually not experienced this level of very obvious loathing from a server before. The server did not seem enthused to be working with us from the get-go (fair, I'm sure weekend brunch shifts are not anyone's favorite) and seemed visibly upset when my friend and I didn't order cocktails or shareables with our brunch. I'm not sure if it was our order or the way we were dressed (not as fancy as other guests), but we certainly weren't receiving the kind of warm service other guests were receiving. For the rest of our time there she treated us like we were a nuisance, which is surprising because we didn't request any modifications for our dishes or ask her for anything else other than the bill at the end. It's hard to describe the experience of dining at a restaurant where you depend on your server to take the lead on your food order and your server hates you. We wish her the best though because the food service industry can definitely be challenging physically and emotionally (speaking from experience). Home fries were delicious as always, and previous dining experiences have been perfectly pleasant. I'd take the risk and eat there again!

We decided to stop here for a date night this weekend and had a wonderful time! Our server was attentive and very helpful with our questions. We had the chicken meatballs and calamari for starters, then the lamb osso bucco and fiorentine bisteca for entrées, and of course the salted caramel lava cake for dessert. I could not have imagined a more perfect meal - perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and nice filling portions. Most importantly, they were very accommodating with substitutions for our dietary needs. This was a special treat for us, and we hope to be back soon for the next occasion!

Terrible service, below average food.I had taken my wife here for her birthday dinner. Less of a dinner, and more of some cocktails and a couple appetizers, to the disappointment of our server. Unfortunately it's been a month or two so I cannot remember his name. We declined any entrees, and so he proceeded to get the dessert menu, making it sound like we would receive a complimentary dessert for my wife's birthday. That wasn't the case, which is fine. We looked over the desserts and didn't see anything we wanted. When we told our waiter, he proceeded to slam his hand on the table, crumple our menu, and walk away. He said something, trying to act like it was a joke, but jokes or not, nothing justifies this kind of behavior. All night it seemed like we were an inconvenience since we only ordered a couple things instead of 5 courses, meaning his tip would be small. As far as the food goes, we just got cocktails and a charcuterie, which were both fine, but nothing good to write home about. The food seemed like something that marketed itself as a fine dining experience, but really was just Chili's with some makeup on. Especially with how we were treated dining there.

One of our favorite spots in downtown A2! Great selection of beverages and a spot you can stop in for a single drink, or stay for a couple. Lots of parking within walking distance. Wine tastings if you really want to make an event out of it!

Me and my husband love to go out to eat and frequently went to Vinology before COVID. After COVID started, we hadn’t been back until last night. We were skeptical as some of our favorite places just weren’t the same after the pandemic. Luckily Vinology was just as spectacular as we had remembered. We ordered the fries and flautas for our starter, fried chicken and red snapper for the entree, and ended with the chocolate lava cake. Everything was amazing. I quite literally had no complaints for anything. The food was great, the service was great, and the ambiance was great. I will say, this place is more on the pricier side but a great option to add to your date night rotation!

Great place to host a work party. We loved the room we were in and the event coordinator who helped me plan the party was extremely quick to response, change and even updating our table to a larger location the day of. I would like to go back soon myself!

Stopped in to grab a drink at the bar....terrible service. There was one other couple at the bat who had already been served and barely anyone in the restaurant. Took a long time for the bartender to even notice us...ordered 2 drinks which took forever to make...then sat with those drinks empty for a long time...we decided to leave instead of getting another drink. The bartender acted bothered to serve us. The time we spent there not getting service was not acceptable. The drinks were good.

Good food & good ambience. I ordered cutlery board which had had meat, cheese, fruits, bread and jam. Service was very nice. So many good wine options, along with cocktail and beer options as well. Making reservation online was easy. I liked my spicy wine very much. I would like to visit this place again.

The brunch was excellent - I wish the bottomless mimosas were a little less expensive as $20 is quite a lot so I just opted for a single mimosa. I would suggest additional breakfast cocktails, such as Irish coffee or spiked hot cocoa. The staff were fast and friendly and the restaurant (and bathrooms) were clean and comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our meal and would return for brunch or any special meal at Vinology!

Nice atmosphere, but poorly executed food and drinks. Wines were great. However, we ordered 4 types of the cocktails on the menu and all were unbalanced. This was true of both traditional cocktails (ie French 75) and also the custom cocktails. Food was overall good, but overpriced for the flavors. One of us ordered salmon. It first came out completely over cooked, like a board. They brought a second one, which was then fully raw. The chef never came out and clearly never checked the food. As a replacement, scallops were ordered. These came 20 minutes after everyone else was done eating, and were fine. However, the restaurant still charged for the scallops. No sign of the manager the whole time. The other meals were just ok (ie the lamb chops). We had an almost $700 bill and were at the restaurant from 6 until close. The way the food was handled was very poor and the attention to detail was clearly lacking. Great atmosphere but not worth the trip. We won’t be back.
