Not really sure what happend to TMAZ. I hadn't been in a couple of years, but I used to frequent the Packard location when I lived nearby. It's just not good, everything was just really bland and tasted like it'd been left in a fridge for like a week then reheated. "Asada" looked and tasted like ground beef. Salsas were not even remotely spicy. Tamales were huge, but also very bland.

Went here because of rave reviewsVery dis appointed.Food is all pre made; sauce tastes like Chef-boy-ardee; portions are very small and way too expensive.I would’ve given only one star, but the guy behind the counter was super nice.

I loved this place, my first time was today! Pleasntly surprised to discover this "best kept secret" at 2025 Dexter /Ann Arbor Rd, just west of Maple hidden by the Wolverine Party ShopFreshest ingredients and each order made with attention to detail.I had a quesadilla which comes with choice of beans and rice.ettice, tomato in and cheese. Also had a Gordita withtoppings. I'm going to come back.

This is just a review for Dexter Ave branch and not Tmaz in general. We are big fans of TMAZ, but the food at this place tastes nothing like the one on Packard. The asada tasted more like turkey and soggy, and same with the chorizo. The food didn't taste fresh at all and so we ended up walking out of there after 2 bites. We went there at 8:45pm, and perhaps the meat was brought in from the Packard location a long time ago? Either way, we will stick to TMAZ on Packard.

I love this place. Best tacos I’ve had in Michigan.

People will say this place is “authentic” (which it is), but that doesn’t mean it has excellent food. It’s really just nothing special mexican.

If you want real authentic Mexican food this is the place! Had their tacos and quesadilla with a side of chips and salsa. Phenomenal! Everything was excellent and tasty. When I’m in the Ann Arbor area (I’m from Cleveland Ohio ) I’ll be sure to come back to this gem.

This place is killing it. They got the authentic flavor you can't get at TBell (save it for 4th meal). Also, you can walk next door and grab a sixer after you order your food.

Food is Quality!! Best El Pastor I've ever had. Local Gem for sure..

Yesssss!!! We moved from Chicago a year ago and are always looking for true Mexican, the carnitas are great! The tamales were good, but a little on the soft side, tasted great though... Id definely recommend and we'll be back!!
