Unbelievable. SO GOOD. I don’t like Chinese food and went with a Chinese food lover, and we were both shocked at how great it was. It felt authentic and clean, the service was fast, it was very reasonably priced (entrees around $12-$15). This restaurant was the highlight of visiting Ann Arbor. The food was delicious and all tasted homemade. The chicken was just crispy and the soup was flavorful but not too salty. We left full but not feeling the with the uncomfortable feeling that always follows unhealthy food.
I wasn't super impressed. The reviews had me thinking this place was going to be something a little special, at least a bit better than the average Chinese restaurant, but I couldn't really agree.Perhaps the dishes we ordered were just not particularly special, but I'm not sure. I'll give it another shot.
They food went down hill . And their customer service is Terrible they gave us water from the tap& made us pay for some fried rice that smelled so raw like eggs . They told us since we ordered it we have to pay then started to pack it up for us to take home. I just wanted to swap it for some plain rice.. we paid the bill which was over a hundred dollars and left the fried rice on the table ..I’m pregnant and can’t just eat anything sorry ! I’ll never go their again to spend my money try at your own risk though !
Had great hunan chicken there and I thought the restaurant looked well kept and clean.
Great authentic Chinese food and really friendly and attentive staff! We got lucky and arrived at the right time to avoid waiting for a table, but this little place fills up pretty quickly (and for good reason). The photos on the wall are really fun to look at and the atmosphere overall is really comfortable. I will definitely be back!
We were very satisfied with the dishes we ordered for both taste and portion size. If you can't eat a lot, plan to share or take food home. The service was a little slow, but the overall atmosphere was nice. Don't miss it.
I love this place. While it is a lot smaller than a lot of other places Ann Arbor has to offer, it is a solid pick for anyone who ones great food at affordable prices while being treated as family. I had this desire to eat a very specific flavor combination and could not put my finger on what I wanted. The Cha-Chun noodles dish was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It had that savory, charcoally taste which just gives you that hug you need on a cold winter's night. The tea is perfectly brewed for you. I would definitely visit again when I am back here in Ann Arbor.
Very busy with limited help. Menu posted on door vs inside varied slightly. Server was somewhat attentive. Did not get any refills on my soda.
It was packed. The food was tasty. They needed more people out between the tables. But it was a very cosy place.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. I won’t recommend anyone to try their food unless you are starving to DEATH. I ordered their whatever pork ribs but the dish I got was not hot and even COLD inside the ribs. The female manager agreed to gave us a refund but refused to acknowledge that was an issue. It seems like the restaurant has no other requirement or standard for their foods as long as the foods are not raw. I DEFINITELY can not accept that attitude not only as a CHINESE customer, but as a PERSON who is paying for the food and service. Besides, I’m not sure why they can have a CHILD LABOR working for them. I’m VERY UNCOMFORTABLE when being served by a primary school kid and don’t think this is reasonable or legal.
