They’re too short-staffed to be able to provide good service and unfortunately got our order very wrong. It’s too bad because the food is good, so the restaurant could be GREAT!

We could not keep our reservation. There was no parking meters available for miles. We were unable to keep our reservation because of Ann Arbor’s poor parks ng conditions.

With a large group occupying the upper floor, we were treated to the Original Cottage Inn's hospitality and the Michigan definition of pizza. Being an individual whose tastes for pie are NYC bound, I found the pizza very tasty. The sauce and toppings were very good. But the thick crust limited me to two 3" x 5" slices. Bread fills you up, a reason the thin crust of a New York pie allows you to eat more. But I digress. The Original Cottage Inn's selections were enjoyed by all in attendance and we came from across the country. A selection of bite size desserts (cheese cake, petit fours, and macarons) ended a dinner of salad, various toppings pizzas, and bread. The wait staff knew how to best service the group. Thank you to them for providing a great place for our gathering.

In Ann Arbor for a wedding and went to the restaurant for a nostalgia visit. As good as I remembered. One diner has celiac disease and they dealt with it appropriately.

Had not been here in a long time... glad that we did! Family enjoyed their dinner and portions were generous. Decor is casual, nothing too fancy.Appetizers to start...Calamari was nice and crisp, yet tender on the inside. Can't go wrong with cheesy bread... be careful not to get too full on it. Cranberry pecan salad was perfectly balanced on ingredients and flavorful. Great as a side or to have on its own.Entrees...Chicken parmesan was the kids' fave of the night. The ravioli florentine was flavorful and sauce super rich. As for the chicken marsala, chicken was tender served with dark brown gravy, mashed potatoes and large cuts of broccoli florets; taste-wise, the gravy was just okay. Feel like that either makes or breaks the rest of the dish. However, the quantity was more than enough to make up for it.We would definitely go back again.

Our server Justin was attentive and wonderful. The food was fantastic, kitchen was very fast and our drinks were out quickly as well. Definitely a nice spot to enjoy some pizza before a night on the town.

As always, pizza ,salad , service , ambience and drinks were SUPERB. Pizza was memorably good per usual.

Pizza is wonderful. Had the Florentine pizza and was great. Service was ok, was pleasant but could have been more attentive.

Average restaurant experience. Our food order was inaccurate, and it was very infrequent that we saw our server. No drink refills were offered, and no discount on our tab for all the mistakes with our food.

As always for the last 20 years of coming here, the food was great but our server Sara M was fantastic and was absolutely the best of the best. Took care of my kiddos and went above and beyond for my wife for our 17th anniversary dinner!!! Thank you so much Sara!!!
