We had a great dinner. Christine our waitress was lovely and food was sooo tasty. We will be back to try more on the menu!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks after a movie at the Michigan-- so convenient! We chose to eat outside on a lovely evening, but, of course, we were near the street traffic. Our server was attentive and very pleasant, and the mussels and paella were outstanding.

Food is beautifully presented and prepared. Drinks are artful and strong. However for the price there should be more than one shrimp in a bouilliabase. Also when we ordered an appetizer for a main course it came & was priced full dinner size without asking us which size we wanted. We will try going again but be more explicit with our ordering.

Service was friendly and helpful but the food was not up to the price. Calamari was a small portion and more vegetables than calamari. Bouillabaisse was not what I expected. I should have looked at the description more closely. Basically seafood in broth. Espresso was bitter. Coffee flavored creme brulee was a different take on a traditional dessert and probably the only item I would order again if given the chance to start over on the selections. Expected much more given the price and the reviews. With two glasses of wine the total for one person was over $100 before tip.

Taste kitchen is as advertised in reviews- absolutely delicious food, creative and balanced cocktails, decadent but appropriately sized desserts and excellent service. The menu is new American with French and Vietminisne influences, the dishes we sampled were all very balanced and delicious. From perfectly cooked Hanger Steak served as part of a mixed raw and cooked vegetable salad and vinaigrette, to an extremely flavorful Bouillabaisse with plentiful toasted baguette slices to mop up the sauce, our meal was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Duck tocos are next level in flavors. Service was friendly, attentive & perceptive. We will be back.

The mushroom risotto, foie gras and coconut panna cotta were delicious. The scallops was a little too salty. I felt overall a bit pricey for what we got.

Ambience is amazing, this is a great place for date night or special occasion as it has great low lighting and calm atmosphere.Went here for my husbands and I 23rd wedding anniversary dinner. Had a nice romantic dinner.Food-Calamari was good. My sea bass was cooked to perfection! Very delicious and highly recommend to get!Portions was good, not too big or small. My husband had the duck and that was cooked good too. Dessert was tasty chocholate bodino square tasted like a soft Kit Kat, very good! Drinks are good as well.Service- was great to and attentive when needed.First time here and will visit again!

Celebrated our engagement here recently. Far and away the best service we’ve had in A2–knowledgeable, attentive, and warm. Food was excellent (we especially loved the calamari and the pork dish) and everything was beautifully prepared. They made the night very special!

The food was OK. We ordered Valentine's fixed menu. My scallops were slightly burned. For the first course I had assortment of oysters. I expected to get oysters with 4 different tastes. But instead I got only two tastes. Idk why, maybe it's my bad that I couldn't distinguish between them. But pairs of oysters looked very much alike and tasted as well. My partner had a duck breast which was impeccable! Kudos to chef! We also liked very much a sorbet. To sum up, we really could highlight 2 dishes out of 8 tasted. In our opinion, everything else had major or minor issues. Given that overall check was about $200 for two, this is a bit of a disappointment.

Excellent food service ambience! Highly recommend while you are in Ann Arbor!
