Their spicy garlic is excellent.. I truly hope they add it permanently to the menu because it was hands down our favorite out of all five flavors we tried. All of the other wings were excellent, but it was a toss up on what the second favorite was. I'm normally not a fan of dry rub, but the brogarashi was excellent and I loved the spice & flavor on the Gucci gang. I thought the Penang was on the weaker side but still worth trying. I still need to try the biscuits but the wings were ready very quickly and I'm looking forward to trying out more wings in the future.
Best wings I've had in years!Had with some friends and I think the overall favorite was the Open Pit BBQ, it's crazy sweet.I also loved the Gucci gang and others loved the Jamaican Jerk and OG Buffalo. We all thought the Kaeser left a bit to be desired though, it needs something to pump up the flavor.
I've been meaning to try Side Biscuit for a while now, and after making my first visit, I definitely get the hype. I stopped in with a friend who's an Ann Arbor local who's since moved away, but had an unstoppable craving for Side Biscuit while in town. The menu is simple and straightforward, and the staff is quite friendly and happy to explain through any questions you may have along the way.The location is just about as close as you can get to a "hole-in-the-wall" type of an establishment, as there's virtually no indoor space other than the kitchen and the tiny corner of the building where you order, but hey, space is overrated! Side Biscuit does offer a few outdoor tables where you can eat your meal while you're there, but I wouldn't plan on bringing any big groups to dine in here -- you'll see a lot of folks picking up takeout on a normal day. When I visited, it'd been raining outside prior and the tables were put away, but one of the staff members stepped out to set up a table for us (in other words, awesome service!).The food is fantastic, and the combinations of flavors are quite well put together. You can tell that the staff is passionate about the food, and the wings of the week and biscuit of the week are definitely things you should explore! While we're on the topic of wings, I'll say my favorite so far is the Brogarashi were my favorite, and honestly the Seitan fingers really make a case for themselves too.Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Side Biscuit if you're in this part of Ann Arbor! Good value, good food, and a great team -- quite a combo!
Was disappointed to say the least after seeing the rave reviews. The biscuit was great, I’ll give them that, although it was more of a scone than a biscuit. However, the wings were far from crispy, skin was was just on there waiting to get peeled off which in part peeled all the sauce off. Oh Buffalo wasn’t anything you can’t get at any Coney Island selling wings. BBQ sauces wings tasted like it came out of a super market squeeze bottle. If your gonna charge upward of $1.80 a wing at least make sure they’re better than Buffalo Wild Wings.
Easily the best wings you can get in Ann Arbor, period. All options are fantastic here, but their wings take the cake. They're always whipping up new dishes and offers while also changing their wing spices/sauces weekly. Always very engaging on social media and very polite when picking up orders. They're the definition of hard work and their delicious food is the product of that hard work. You want wings, this is the way!
Yum! The OG Buffalo wings are the real deal - as good as any you'll find in Buffalo. The biscuits are outstanding as well.
These wings are worth a try! Love the unique flavors. Our favorite was Brogarashi which has a unami flavor. The other one we tried is gucci gang which has a sweet spicy gochujang taste. The wings were crispy and well fried. Definitely wasnt on the heavy side which I liked.
This place is fantastic. Jordan and the crew are awesome people. I’ve never had better wings Anywhere. The flavors between the dry rubs and the sauces are super unique. The variety of the different biscuit every week is also fantastic. DON’T SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. #TeamFlats!!!!
Easily best wings i’ve ever had. Chef Jordan and the guys do it right. I’m yet to have a flavor I don’t like. The biscuits are a must every time you go. A little on the pricey side but worth it.
Side Biscuit is absolutely amazing! I'm from Buffalo, and I never thought I would find wings that could compare in Michigan, but I was excited to try them out since the owner is from Buffalo as well. We ordered two driveway plates, one with OG Buffalo sauce and one with Open Pit BBQ sauce. The OG was the perfect amount of spiciness with just enough sauce (not dripping like most other places tend to have). The BBQ was sweet and tangy with great flavor. The pear maple buttermilk side biscuits that came with our order were so flavorful and perfect for fall. Thank you to Jordan for bringing a little slice of my hometown to Ann Arbor! I cannot recommend Side Biscuit enough!!
