I stay only in Marriott branded hotels, and as you know there are many. This time, in Ann Arbor, there for our annual family event I elected to stay in a relatively new member of the Marriott family, the Ann Arbor Sheraton. What a great find! We stayed on the concierge floor that looked and felt like it had been recently remodeled. Our room was excellent with normal space BUT with considerable more closet and drawer space. Maybe we are old fashioned. My wife likes to unpack our suitcases. There was plenty of space. I also appreciated a very comfortable sofa on which to sit and read, watch TV etc. No it was not a modern piece of furniture which is not comfortable and sometimes not even easy to sit on. Marriott take a look at this property. The lobby had plenty of space in which to gather. The fitness center was adequate. The evening restaurant menu was limited but ok. The hotel has a very pleasant decor. There was a slight housekeeping snafu that was promptly, and pleasantly, resolved. I do look forward to our next visit and hope the Sheraton Club, or M Club, or whatever it is called will again be opened. Yes, indeed we’ll stay here for our next family visit. Thanks Sheraton.

I stayed one night after a day of traveling. The hotel is in a quiet area, seemed clean, has a pool. No ice machines on the floors, you have get it from the front desk. And they charge for coffee. But what put this place for me at three stars the bulk soap dispensers in the shower. Bad idea to attract professional travelers.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep peacefully, because the housekeeping won't let you.\\nThey came at 7:30am although we didn't call them. We asked what's the matter and they had no reason to come so we thought it's a misunderstanding. An hour later at 8:30am they came back AGAIN. I opened the door and said we told you we're here 30 min ago, why are you back? And they say it's the hotel policy to check, and they pointed out, with a grin on her face, that it wasn't 30 min ago. Oh so you remember being here. And still came back. You're saying it's the 'hotel policy' to knock every hour in the morning no matter the guests are sleeping? She says yes, and added if we didn't want it we should've put the do not disturb sign. Like it's my fault to be bothered????\\nI went asked the front desk about such policy and of course they say there isn't, and that they should't have done that. But at that point I was already interrupted twice that morning.

Manager was rude to me. I had to get 3 sets of room cards before they worked. Bar and restaurant were closed due to staff having covid. Which is understandable but then was told by the manager that breakfast is $20 extra and it's a big deal around here. Besides the manager being rude, I spoke with two other staff members a cleaning lady and a maintenance worker and both were very nice. The room was very nice too. Clean which is what I wanted. Comfortable bed. The indoor, outdoor pool was good too. Due to the initial up front experience and the way they handled things I won't be coming back.

We have stayed multiple times. Over all a good hotel. On the last stay they gave us our room key. We get our luggage and head to the room only to find it hadn't been cleaned. They apologized and gave us a new room. After our stay I looked at the bill and they charged us to switch rooms even though it wasn't our fault.

We booked a room at the Sheraton 7 months ago for graduation weekend. They reached out to us about 3 weeks before graduation to tell us they had oversold the hotel and had canceled our room! We were left without a hotel room in Ann Arbor for the weekend of graduation. They were completely unprofessional and unresponsive about this and I would never recommend the hotel to anyone. If they can charge people cancelation penalties for canceling, yet they can just cancel on their clients whenever, even when they have confirmations, what good is a confirmation?

The hotel was conveniently located near Ann Arbor and also an easy drive to Detroit (45 minutes). The staff and management went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel special. We were given a room at the top floor (6th floor) since we are Marriott Bonvoy members. This was so nice because we didn't hear any outside noise and were able to get a good night's sleep. The Assistant General Manager sent an email halfway through our stay asking how it was going and if anything could be improved. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was a little small, but not a big deal. I also like that they had the big size bottles of toiletries to use. We would give this 5 stars, except we chose this hotel because of the pool. My 4 year old son loved the pool and we used it twice during our stay. However, we noticed several large patches of ants, especially near the hot tub. At one point, my son had several ants on his swim trunks. Overall, the hotel was clean and well kept. Special attention could made the pool area though.

This is possibly the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. The staff is very pleasant and 0phelpful. We were informed at check in there was no daily housekeeping but told us to ask for what ever we needed. On Saturday staff tapped on our door and offered free bottled water, towels and coffee. The lobby bar is spacious and offers plenty of options to visit with friends and family. The day before we arrived I received at email to welcome us. Also the weekend weather report and a couple local eating options. With all the choices we have today I belive the little things count. Sheraton brand is my go to hotel chain.

I rented 2 rooms here. The air conditioners in both rooms have no continuous running fan function, so Im assuming none of the rooms here do.Basically this means you have a loud AC relay fan switching on and off 25-30 times a night. As a light sleeper, this creates a horrible stay/experience. If you like paying lots on $$ to be awakened every 10 minutes, stay here.

With less than two weeks till my reservation, I was informed that I am being switched to a hotel in Detroit. I made my reservation back in October and do not understand why they waiting so long to inform me. I am driving from Chicago and it makes absolutely no sense to drive further than my destination for a hotel accommodation. The assistant general manager sent this email and promptly went home. Keith is unable to be reached and provide a solution to this problem. Overall a terrible experience.
