It took me years to finally try Shake Shack after hearing so many great things about it. For a fast food -esque restaurant the recommendations check out. Got a double shack burger and it was so pleasant to bite into. Although, their crinkle-cut fries came short of tasty and in my opinion too salty. You could probably get a bag of frozen fries from the grocery store and make it better. Nonetheless fries are always a nice treat. I capped off the meal with their churro shake. At first, my mouth was numb from how much cinnamon they put in it. Then as I got toward the bottom it became a lot more enjoyable with the chunks of churro dough mixed in. Definitely would come back but skip the fries and maybe keep it to a classic ol’ vanilla shake
Food was good was very busy which is a great sign! My friend only got 7 nuggets and ordered 10. But it was too busy so she didn't go back up and tell them. All workers we encountered were super nice and friendly! Just a little more expensive then we thought or planned on it being.
I love shake shack. So this visit disappointed me. I got the regular single shack, and the patty was way drier than usual. The fries were disappointing as well. I don’t know why, but the oil must be old or something, it smelled completely different from usual shake shack fries and not tasty at all. There’s unpleasant bitterness to it and that never happened in the past. I only could eat 3-4 fries. It was that bad. And I am genuinely sad that I have to think about if I wanna visit this location again. ( and I mean the other is in Detroit so way too long trip for a burger)
Walked in to place a pick up order. Only ordered a Chicken Shack and a Shack Burger. While waiting for my food, one of the employees came to check the name on my order and gave me an update, which was fantastic. My order was ready shortly after. I got home and the order was wrong. I feel like the girl stapling the tags to the bags and calling out the order names should have caught it if she was actually checking, but she didn't really look like she cared about any of it. There was literally one other order that was up. Order accuracy has been as issue there lately when I have ordered.
Good burgers, fries, and shakes. I tried it years ago (in the rain after 2 hr wait) when the hype was through the roof in NYC and wasn't impressed but when I tried it recently again, I was pleasantly surprised to find it really delicious. Their truffle burger is so scrumptious. I've been coming pretty regularly since I rediscovered them.
I ordered a shroom burger (vegetarian burger) and picked it up. When I opened it at home, I saw this beef cheeseburger. I hope this was not intentional. I want a refund. I already left my contact info using voicemail.
Fairly clean eating area, somewhat sticky floors but I get it, Tons of foot traffic!The staff is polite, even while I wear my MSU hat. The fries are a nice krinkle cut and not overly greasy.Our burgers almost seemed like they had sat in a little bit of water… the inside of the bun wasn’t squishy, the outside of the lower bun was soggy…..Burger was fairly greasy, tasted good. I added bacon.. the amount of bacon was very disheartening to say the least.Now.. MY BIGGEST ISSUE …. The Price is absurd!!!Four burgers, three fries, two small drinks and two large drinks…OVER $58!!!!!This food is not worth it. As for me and mine we will avoid shake shack at all costs and will be advising others to do so. Save yourself the money and disappointment!
Cookie & cream shake + pomegranate punch pretty solid, punch is refreshing.. shake is a “nice” finish after chicken sandwich a close second to Chick-fil-A. CLEAN FAST AND professional!Pickles and buttermilk sauce is LIT!
Great spot to take the kids...or go alone. Ordering is simple with a nice big menu to review as you wait. Food comes up fast and hot. Burgers and fries were tasty. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich and that was really good too. Obviously, the shakes are killer. No complaints there from me or my kids.
My expectations were high. Shake shack got a lot of press, everyone should try it out, it's really good, they said. I had a bacon hamburger it was very good, but small. French fries were okay. This was my first visit, I'm not in a hurry to come back.
