Until today, I had nothing bad to sayabout this place. Sure, the manager is alittle "all business, no smile" at times, butthe food is pretty good!Well, after today I am never againpatronizing Seoul Street. I placed myorder over the phone and was told towait the usual 45 minutes before comingin to pick up the wings. This is standardprocedure, so I wasn't surprised. Well, upon arriving I was confronted by themanager and he let me know that he had"not started" my wings becauseapparently I had forgotten to pick up mysmall, personal order of 4 thighs(approximately $12) a week ago.FOOTNOTE: Immediately upon hearingthis I remembered that I had, indeed, ordered and forgotten BUT I neverreceived a phone call letting me knowthat my wings were done either! Had Ireceived a call, I would have immediatelycome to pick up my product.Well, after kindly letting the managerknow that I had not received a call andalso reminding him that I am a repeatcustomer, he looked at me andreiterated that he had not begun cookingthe wings that I had already waitednearly an hour for. While this ONESTRIKE POLICY would've surely infuriatedanyone else, I calmly explained thelogical fallacy behind his poor businessmethod/punishment and left theestablishment.Apparently Seoul Street is doing wellenough financially to both burn bridgeswith loyal, repeat customers (withoutgiving them a chance to make up fortheir small mistakes) and give unfriendly, unsmiling service. Now that I look at it,I'm surprised this place has made it solong in the friendly city of Ann Arbor.Oh well, my body will probably thank mefor ceasing the ingestion of their no-doubt MSG-laden chicken product. Thanks for that, Seoul Street.

Bad bad service. I could copy and paste a one star review I see now from 10 months ago. The door is still broke and the owner/cook is still ultra angsty. We tried to open the door (super tough and broke) and he literally screamed “PULL” at us. They do not pick up the phone at all. The food was not nearly good enough to outweigh the dirty kitchen and angry staff.

The chicken is so delicious, one of our favorite spots in town! Our favorite is the half & half Medium Combo with thighs and wings. Both of the sauces are incredible. Wish there were more options for sides!

The best FRIED CHICKEN in town! Mandu is second to none too! We’ve had many fried chicken in Korean, China, and other cities in US. But the fried chicken here is absolutely incredible! They definitely have their secret recipe ?

The man who makes the food here is an ARTIST! Best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. Be sure to order the kimchi fries as well. You won’t regret it!

I am constantly craving food from Seoul Street! Their food is fantastic and so delicious! The kimchi fries are such a treat that are fun to get with any other foods on the menu. I highly recommend! We love Seoul Street!!

I ordered 2 corn dogs and seasoned fries, I recieved 2 desert items and fries without any seasoning. They don't pick up their phone so double check your order when you're at the register.

Seoul street is a small, no-frills spot that offers some “traditional” Korean food like kimchi fried rice as well as more fusion dishes like kimchi fries.Pros: the food is fantastic, the prices are affordable, and it’s in a great location for people living on north campusCons: the elephant in the room— the person who I believe is the owner is rude. He’s not friendly and he doesn’t seem to really care about the customer. HOWEVER, The interaction you have with him is very short, and the food is just so delicious that I don’t mind a minimal, unpleasant interaction. He’s not even usually the person at the register oftentimes. My recs: Korean fried chicken (soy garlic and spicy are both good, spicy is very spicy!) and the kimchi fries (I’ve had kimchi fries in various places across the country and none have compared to the kimchi fries here)Pro tip: order way way ahead and order online for pick u. They’re not the most responsive over the phone.

It is not an understatement to say that I am completely obsessed with this restaurant's food. More than half a decade ago, I ate one plate of their spicy Korean Fried Chicken on a trip to Ann Arbor, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. This weekend, my partner and I drove six hours (from Madison, Wisconsin) and got to experience the magic again.
