It’s been a while coming here. Both boys graduated. We got carryout. Their crunch rolls are my favorite. I also got a vegetable roll, my son a sunny roll, which is fried. (2) rolls each and I’m full. The price is decent too. Four rolls, one soup and one salad, $30. If your in Ann Arbor give it a try. Parking is metered on the street.

My favorite sushi - not just in Ann Arbor but anywhere I’ve been. The Sadako roll is like $5-6 and is my favorite. Delicious.

Great food and great service. One look at the sushi bar and you know this place is legit.

Truly awful food. We had high hopes for this place. But this is without a doubt the worst dining experience either of us have had in Ann Arbor. Perhaps even in southeast Michigan. The tempura soba came cold, and the noodles rubbery. Ingredients in the sushi weren’t fresh. The vegetables seem prepared well in advance and were wilted/stale. Fruit was over ripe. Assembly of the sushi was unskilled. The fish was also not fresh. Each roll fell apart when trying to pick it up. More than half of the meal we simply threw away. No restitution was offered by the restaurant. I could see similar reactions on the faces of other patrons. I do not understand how sadako is still in business. A truly terrible dining experience!

Great sushi! I usually get carryout and it is always delicious and fresh!

The quality of sushi is mediocre, but the interior is terrible (smells bad)! It seems to me that the restaurant hasn’t been renovated for over three decades.

Environment: 3Staff: 4Food quality + price: 4A great college town place for cheap sushi! It’s nice to come with friends and order a variety to try since prices are relatively affordable to other places in the area. The staff are very efficient at their jobs, but will place the check on your table before you ask for it. The food is fine for the price you pay for

Service is always great at Sadako! Super kind and attentive staff. Wait time is about 10 minutes for moderately busy times. We tried the chicken katsu for the first time, and it was scrumptious. Would definitely get again, but maybe accompanied by 1 roll of sushi instead of 4 rolls for two people. Sadako never disappoints.

Solidly mediocre. And the place smells terrible.
