Absolutely incredible coffee and expert baristas abound here at this gem. You can find their heavenly beans all around the Ann Arbor area but if you have time to spare, I highly recommend you allow the experts to fix you a magnificent concoction.
Such a good cup of coffee. The staff is really great, and helpful when you need some direction on what to get (because they have lots of tasty options). The decor is cute, there is a lot of room outdoors to enjoy the weather while sipping your drink. But honestly, hats off to the staff for making this place as amazing as it is.

The coffee was very good. However, the breakfast menu is small and non-accommodating. We ordered burritos and they wasn't very flavorful. We asked if it could be made with just eggs and cheese for our 4 year old, and was told it was pre-made and couldn't make any substitutions. The staff was friendly and the shop was very cute. Not much seating, if any, inside. Plenty of tables outside though.
RoosRoast has the absolute best coffee, and I've been buying their beans for years (even when I didn't live in Ann Arbor). Badass Women and Mother Pheasant Plucker are my general favorites, but their rotating single origins always have something good, and they also do special seasonal roasts, like their end of year Holiday Blend.You can pick up bulk orders of coffee / tea here, but also buy cafe staples like hot food, pastries, and coffee/tea/espresso drinks, plus t-shirts/mugs/stickers/hats/anything else RoosRoast-branded.This location is off the beaten path which is nice - real neighborhood vibes. There's lots of outdoor seating, but very minimal indoor seating (even pandemic aside).Currently, masks seem to be required to enter and order, but it looks like eating/drinking indoors without a mask is okay. Masks are being provided as well if you forget your own.
I have always loved coming in here! Coffee is always top notch & staff are always so friendly and fun! Can almost always count on a good laugh:) Today I had a very unfortunate experience with a female employee who was extremely short and seemingly very annoyed with me for swinging by to buy a bag of beans at 1:00pm; No one else was even in the shop! Definitely put a damper on my day! Hopeful this isn’t the new Roos norm:(

The best-smelling coffee shop I've ever walked into. Coffee itself was delicious and the barista poured lovely latte art into my to-go cup, which is definitely not as easy as it looks! Cozy, vibrant place to stop in for your morning coffee.
The best coffee. I mostly brew at home and it is great to pick up freshly roasted bag. I was a Starbucks fan, but the RoosRoast has converted me.
Love this place. Great coffee, tasty quick food and super friendly staff. Also appreciate their art and that they have size inclusive clothes!
