Pretty nice atmosphere and the staff were nice too. They have a wide drink and food selection, which I wish I could have tried more of, especially all the fun drinks they had. They even had some for groups specifically, which I thought looked fun. We got there kinda late, so we weren't able to check out the arcade, but it looked cool. My only complaint is the huge TV screens that were over the bowling lanes. In my opinion they are far too big and very distracting.
Revel and roll is one our families favorite spot. There’s something there for everyone from adults to kids and we always find ourselves having birthdays or events here. Elise goes above and beyond when taking care of us whenever we come. From the decorations to the food she is always on top of everything and makes sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend this place and be sure to request Elise to help with all your needs.
We always have fun here! It’s a great bowling spot for all ages, the kids always enjoy the large arcade. The manager elise is amazing at event planning and checking on customers! The huge projector/TVs all along the back wall of the lanes is a plus too!
I tried to order a beer and was told that it only comes in 24oz mugs. 24 ounces is fine sometimes, but it shouldn't be the only option. A pint has been the standard portion for generations and for good reason.I then decided to have a 12 oz bottle of non-premium lager and was charged $8.68. I told them I felt it was a ridiculous amount to charge and the response was that prices are set by corporate and they have no control. Fair enough. The manager was friendly and understanding and refunded my money which is much appreciated. Still - buyer beware. In regards to the actual bowling, I personally found the huge screens to be a bit of a distraction. It would help if the aspect ratio wasn't stretched out to make everything look warped. Prices to reserve a lane are nearly double what you'll pay at any other bowling alley in Washtenaw County.Since Bel-Mark Lanes recently closed, I was looking for an alternative and sadly, this isn't going to be it.
When it comes to bowling, this is the place to be!I can not speak on behalf of the food nor the arcade, but as far as bowling alleys go, this one demands attention! The lanes were close together with inward facing couches, but it never felt like I was a part of another group. Both the seating and table that were provided were wiped down and free of litter/crumbs. The area itself was huge and almost had a casino appeal. There were giant screens at the other end of the lane projecting movies and T.V. networks, along side some enjoyable, "banger" music playing in the background. The prices were ridiculously low. I guess there are several different discounts available based on the time and day in which you decide to visit. For myself, the cost of admission for bowling was around $3.60 on a Sunday around 7pm. The catch to this is that they take account of your card before you start bowling, so that you are charged for however many games you played once you return your shoes. Charges can stack up quickly if you are not conscious of this fact. The service was very friendly. The shoes, however, were as disgusting feeling as any bowling alley footwear happens to be.My friend and I had a wonderful time together at this place, and I wouldn't have ended the night any other way. As far as a recommendation, I would say that large groups of friends or family would thrive in this bowling alley. I also think that the couples in favor of a public, adventurous evening would find this place to be an excitable date night. As far as an inexpensive, care-free, fun filled night goes, Revel & Roll has got your back!
Elise and Lindsay treated us so well and helped to make sure we had the best experience (even when we spilled a pitcher of beer on the ground lol!) The food was great and got to us really fast so we were able to get the most out of bowling. Definitely one of the nicest bowling alleys I’ve ever been to.
If you want an awesome place to hangout, Revel & Roll is a must! It literally has fun for everyone, great bowling, large arcade, amazing food & drinks, and very attentive staff. We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday their and our kiddos had a blast, and the manager Elise made our event so easy and special. We will definitely be coming back!

I had a event last week at Rev and Roll which turned out amazing! The staff was so great. Whatever we needed they were right there to help or serve us with whatever we needed. Chynna was out waitress which really seemed more like a friend because she continued to interact with us while making sure all our needs were met. Elise would check on us almost every 20-30 minutes to see if we needed anything for the party or if she could make our experience more enjoyable! The only thing I would change is making sure I invite the right people next time is. I’ll definitely be having another event here
A longtime favorite haunt for bowling in Ann Arbor for both , the former Colonial Lanes closed in 2015 for renovations and opened with a new avatar, the new Revel & Roll. I was a regular and still love the new place. The arcade is great for kids and has a variety of games, if you spill over from the bowling. Food is still great, and so is the professionalism of the staff. We attended a birthday party for grade 1 kids and both parents and kids had a great time
