I really liked the butter chicken. Chicken Chili was so so but not bad by any means. But the butter chicken was top notch. Would love a bit more spice. Would hope to see more dishes crop up on their menu as time goes by. Also, they need to work on getting orders ready on time. I am hoping to try samosas and the fusion items next time.
The food was not something I would go back for. That said, it's a spot to grab a quick bite and have no other option. There were very few chicken pieces in the chicken curry. The packing was really good and compostable, which is the only thing I liked about this place.
Counter order was easy and the guy was very helpful with suggestions. Samosas are on point! Peas and potato forward with awesome spices. We had the chili chicken which is their medium spicy chicken dish Indian and Asian influences. I would say there is a bunch of chicken in the large which we shared. The spice level is at the upper end of my comfort zone lol delicious the peppers Al-dente and the chicken with deep flavor profile. The little side salad is in a 1/2 cup container so not big but tasty just cukes, tomato and onion in a mild dressing. The mango smoothie was delicious too. Only drawback was they don’t have water for sale only bottles of tea or fruity beverages. Naan bread was freshly grilled (toasted?) right at the time of our order and was just what I expected delicious ?
New addition the Ann Arbor (Indian) food scene!I ordered their Butter chicken (rating: 5/5), and their pineapple chicken curry (rating: 4/5). Loved the portion sizes, and the quality. The default spice levels were pleasant too! Highly recommend trying them out!The curries could have been more spicy but I'd forgotten to mention while ordering.
Great experience! I got the Tikka Marsala (one of my favorite dishes) and they did a great job! Initially, I thought the portion was a bit small, but I think that’s just how the bowl looks because I came in hungry and left stuffed! Super cute space. I would definitely go again!
Yesterday, I ordered food online through Direct Order at around 8pm, because Google and Apple both showed Qmin as open. My order was processed and confirmed, and my credit card was charged. However, when I came to pick my food up, I saw that the restaurant was closed. It was around 8:15, and the hours on the door said that they closed at 9pm. It still said open on Google, and that my order could be picked up at 8:19. There was no indication or notice on the door that their hours had changed or that they had closed early. I’m confused as to why my order was accepted in the first place. I’ve since been refunded the money on my card, but it was a really disappointing experience.
Lovely lil new place for quickly served Indian food. Loved the decor and limited but well diversified menu. I had the Vegetarian Paneer dish and it was great. The rice was very fragrant too. Very much value for money. Extra points for compostable containers.Suggestion to management: Skip the plastic lids for dine-ins and let people pick if they wants spoons or forks instead of offering the spoon+fork+knife to all. Will cut down on the plastic waste even more.
Pineapple chicken curry is my go-to but we have tried everything on the menu and it’s all delicious. Samosas are fantastic and the rice is the best I’ve ever had. Creative fusion concept, Qmin has become a regular in our takeout rotation.
I got the butter chicken with a side of naan. I like the idea of a quick service Indian place a lot, but I think this could have been executed a little better. The curry, rice and naan were all great but my chicken was dry. I wish they offered spice levels similar to no thai. The curry was seasoned well but absolutely no spice. The serving sizes are pretty decent and worth the value. Also, the bathrooms are pretty dirty which is concerning since they’ve just opened. Overall, the place is okay.
Buttered chicken is very good!
